January 19, 2014 the members of Cullman FBC called Rev. Kevin C. Wilburn to pastor
our church. He accepted the call after a 99.34% vote. Brother Kevin and his family
plan to be here in March. PRAISE THE LORD! We are so excited for him to begin
his ministry here at Cullman FBC!
Thank you for welcoming my family to First Baptist. We look forward to being with you in a
few weeks. I ask that you continue to pray for my family as we make this transition. The best is
yet to come.

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS AND
AFTER SCHOOL BUS PICK UP ON WEDNESDAY
will start back on February 5th. You need to sign-up and
pay Joey for meals ($25 per child) by February 5th to ride
the bus. Children’s Choirs Activities will meet from 3:30
until 5:30. Those who stay will have a meal at 5:30 and
S.T.A.R. meets from 6:00 until 7:00 PM.

SPARROW MINISTRY
The Sparrow Ministry is collecting money to
purchase Life Recovery Bibles for the jail.
Please clearly mark envelopes for Sparrow
Ministry or give money to Brenda Ward.
This is a semi-formal event. Cost is $10 per person. We
will have a steak dinner & dessert, followed by a night of
fun. RSVP by February 16th. The planning meeting for this
event is Sunday, February 2nd at 5 PM in the Pointe.

SUPER BOWL PARTY
All youth and youth workers are invited to the
Annual Super Bowl Party at the Student Center
on Sunday, February 2nd beginning at 5:00 PM. All
youth with the last name starting with A—L should bring a
side dish. Those with the letter M—Z should bring a dessert.
DISHES IN CHURCH KITCHENS
We have many dishes in both the Fireside Room Kitchen
and the Fellowship Hall Kitchen which have been left after
meals or returned from homes where a meal has been taken.
Some have names on them, others do not. Please check
both kitchens and claim any that might belong to you. If
not claimed by the end of the month they will be donated to
one of the local thrift stores.

Saturday, February 15th, 2014.
