BUSINESS AND ECONOMY CLASS MI MARKET FIT/ GV2 FARE CONDITIONS
1. VALIDITY:
Sale: on/after 01 October 2014 to on/before 31 March 2015
Ex-SIN Travel: on/after 01 October 2014
2. GENERAL CONDITIONS
2.1.
All fares listed are nett in Singapore dollars, and exclude all airport taxes, fuel surcharges, etc.
Note: Documentation fee is not applicable.
2.2.
All fares listed are valid for one way and round trip journeys originating from Singapore and must be issued in
Singapore on Singapore Airlines Electronic Tickets (ET).
2.3.
All fares listed are valid for travel on Singapore Airlines (SQ) and SilkAir (MI) flights numbers SQ0001 to SQ0999,
SQ5001 to SQ5499, SQ5601 to SQ5611, SQ5613 to SQ5614, SQ5616 and SQ5623 to SQ5624, MI0001 to MI0999
and MI5800 to MI5899 series.
2.4.
The fare conditions listed here are subject to change.
3. TICKETING CONDITIONS
3.1.
Eligibility:
Only for NGV2SG Fares: In each PNR there must be 2 or more passengers traveling together throughout the journey
and all tickets must be issued in sequence.
. No deviation is allowed for any passenger throughout the journey.
3.2. Reservations / Ticketing:
For all fares listed except ZOWSG, ZRSG, YOWSG and YRSG fares, reservations must be confirmed prior to ticketing.
Tickets must be issued with confirmed reservations (OK status).
Advance Purchase is not required for all fares listed except for DNSG to HKT and USM as well as HESG and QESG to
HAN, RGN, KUL, BLR, MAA, CCU and SUB round trip fares. Advance Purchase is required both reservations and
ticketing for the following destinations. Once ticket is issued and if passengers rebook flights, the advance purchase
still applies.

3.4. Minimum/ maximum stay: As stipulated in the fare sheets.
3.5. Permitted combinations:
3.5.1 End-on-end combinations and side trips are not permitted.
3.5.2 All round trip fares listed may be combined on a half round trip basis to form round trips, circle trips journeys and
turnaround open jaw journeys. The fare basis used for the respective sectors must be reflected on the ticket. Please
refer to Table A for the permitted fare basis combination.

3.5.3 All round trip fares listed except MESG, HESG, WESG, QESG and NGV2SG fares may be combined with
Singapore Airlines (SQ) ERSG, BRSG, YRSG, DRSG, JRSG, CRSG, ZRSG, ARSG, FRSG and RRSG fares on a half
round trip basis to form turnaround open jaw journeys. The fare basis used for the respective sectors must be reflected
on the ticket. Please refer to the Table B below for the permitted fare basis combination and Table C for the permitted
SQ and MI turnaround open jaw destinations.
3.5.4 MESG, HESG, WESG and QESG fares may also be combined with Singapore Airlines (SQ) HESG and QESG
fares on a half round trip basis to form turnaround open jaw journeys. Apply ½ of each round-trip fares based on the
applicable booking class and the stricter conditions will apply to the entire journey. Please refer to the Table B below for
the permitted fare basis combination and Table C for the permitted SQ and MI turnaround open jaw destinations.
3.5.5 NGV2SG fares may be combined with Singapore Airlines (SQ) NGV2SG fares on a half round trip basis to form
turnaround open jaw journey and to charge the higher return fare. Please refer to Table D for the permitted open jaw
combinations between SQ and MI destinations only.
Note: If DNSG, MESG, HESG, WESG, QESG and NGV2SG fares are used to construct a journey, the stricter
conditions will apply to the entire journey.

3.6 Stopovers/ transfers: Not permitted for all fares. Surface sector between 2 stopover points is not permitted for any fare.
Exceptions:
 For round trip fares to DAD and PNH, one stopover in REP is permitted at SGD100.
 For round trip fares to REP, one stopover in DAD is permitted at SGD100.
 For round trip fares to DVO, one stopover in CEB is permitted in either direction at SGD100.
 For round trip fares to CEB, one stopover in DVO is permitted in either direction at SGD100.
 For round trip fares to KLO, one stopover in CEB is permitted in either direction at SGD100.
 For round trip fares to MDL, one stopover in RGN is permitted in either direction at SGD100.
3.7 Surcharge fees for Economy Class M, H, W, Q and N Classes:
Surcharges will apply for both outbound and inbound to all destinations. The surcharges will apply as below:

3.8 Changes/ Cancellation/ Refund:
3.8.1 For all fares listed except WOWSG, HOWSG, MOWSG, QOWSG, QESG, WESG, HESG, MESG and NGV2SG
fares:

Rebooking / Revalidations: Permitted provided all the ticketing conditions are met.
Rerouting / Reissue: Permitted within the same fare conditions or to the next applicable higher fare with fare
difference provided all the ticketing conditions are met.

At any time, fare may be used as credit towards payment of any SQ fare of equal or higher value reassessed
from point of origin provided the conditions of the new fares are met.
Cancellation/ Refund:
All RBDs except D-RBD:
 Totally unused tickets, a cancellation fee of USD150 will apply.
 Partially unused tickets: refund, if any will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare
for the journey completed less a cancellation fee of USD150.
D-RBD Business Class
 Totally unused tickets: a cancellation fee of USD300 will apply.
 Partially unused tickets: refund, if any, will be the difference between the fare paid and the applicable fare
for the journey completed less a cancellation fee of USD300.
3 .8.2 For QOWSG, QESG and NGV2SG* fares to all regions except South East Asia:




Rebooking: Date change is permitted at a fee of USD60 per case and re-issuance of e-ticket to reflect the
change is required. The change fee of USD60 is to be indicated in the OB tax code of the reissued e-tickets.
Rerouting / Reissue: Permitted at a fee of USD60 per case within the same fare conditions or to the next
applicable higher fare with fare difference provided all the ticketing conditions are met.
At any time, fare may be used as credit towards payment of any SQ fare of equal or higher value reassessed
from point of origin provided the conditions of the new fares are met. Residual value from re-issuance is nonrefundable
Cancellation/ Refund: Not permitted for totally or partially unused tickets.
NGV2SG* requests for ticket reissuance must be submitted on an SQ Reissuance Form and faxed to
6258 9827 for approval.
3 .8.3 For QOWSG, QESG and NGV2SG* fares to South East Asia only:




Rebooking: Date change is permitted at a fee of USD40 per case and re-issuance of e-ticket to reflect the
change is required. The change fee of USD40 is to be indicated in the OB tax code of the reissued e-tickets.
Rerouting / Reissue: Permitted at a fee of USD40 per case within the same fare conditions or to the next
applicable higher fare with fare difference provided all the ticketing conditions are met.
At any time, fare may be used as credit towards payment of any SQ fare of equal or higher value reassessed

Rebooking: Date change is permitted at a fee of USD20 per case and re-issuance of e-ticket to reflect the
change is required. The change fee of USD20 is to be indicated in the OB tax code of the reissued e-tickets.
Rerouting / Reissue: Permitted at a fee of USD20 per case within the same fare conditions or to the next
applicable higher fare with fare difference provided all the ticketing conditions are met.
At any time, fare may be used as credit towards payment of any SQ fare of equal or higher value reassessed
from point of origin provided the conditions of the new fares are met.
Cancellation/ Refund:
 Totally unused tickets: a cancellation fee of USD150 will apply.
No-show: In all cases of reissue, reroute and refund, proof of cancellation for the confirmed reservations of the original
ticket must be submitted (through BSP). Otherwise the following no-show fees will be applicable.


Business Class – USD 200
Economy Class – USD 100
Note: For any changes and cancellation, stricter fare condition will apply for the entire journey.
3.9 Child / Infant discounts:
3.9.1 For Business Class fares:

Accompanied Child/ Infant occupying a seat: 75% of the applicable Adult fare.

Infant not occupying a seat: 10% of the applicable Adult fare.

Unaccompanied Child: 100% of the applicable Adult fare.
3.9.2 For Economy Class fares:

Accompanied Child / Infant occupying a seat: 75% of the applicable Adult fare.

Infant not occupying a seat: System pricing will be applicable.

Unaccompanied Child: 100% of the applicable Adult fare for all except NGV2SG fares.

Unaccompanied Child for NGV2SG fares: Not permitted.
3.10 Endorsement box:
3.10.1 For WOWSG, HOWSG, MOWSG, WESG, HESG and MESG fares to reflect ‘”VLD SQ/MI/ REISS USDxx*/NO
FFP UPG”
3.10.2 For QOWSG and QESG fares to reflect “VLD SQ/MI/ REISS USDxx*/ NO FFP UPG/RFND”.
3.10.3 For NGV2SG fares to reflect “VLD SQ/MI.GV2/ REISS USDxx*/ NO FFP UPG/RFND.
3.10.4 If fare is applicable to a specific flight number and days of operation, please also indicate: “Valid ex-SIN SQ/MI
yyy / zzz’/ DOP” where yyy” and “zzz” are the flight numbers that are applicable.
E.g ‘VLD ex-SIN MI350/ MI352/ GV2/ DOP/ REISS USDxx*/ NO FFP UPG/ RFND”.
3.10.5 For all other fares to reflect ‘VLD SQ/MI.
Note: USDxx*- to reflect the reissue amount of the region.
