So you all have heard about the Delegate Assembly several times, but what in the world is it!? The Delegate Assembly plays a very important role, not only in electing the next year’s officers but in making policy changes that have a direct impact on all FEA Ohio members/chapters. The Delegate Assembly is the governing body of the whole organization. Each chapter has the opportunity to send two delegates at the state conference and should exercise that right to vote! Meet the State Officers’ Advisors! When one is elected to be a state officer, the advisor then becomes a member of the Executive Committee for that school year. This committee is the driving force that prepares competitions and rubrics, aligning them as closely as possible to FEA National. These women to the left have been working all summer preparing the competitions that will be out soon. In addition to competitions, they play pivotal roles in guiding the officers while planning the state conference as well as the upcoming policy changes that will be discussed at the Delegate Assembly. Although their time is volunteered, they spend countless hours trying to make FEA Ohio a memorable experience for all chapter members.
