SCFH/Vacuum Gauge Assembly Installation Instructions

SCFH/Vacuum Gauge Assembly Installation Instructions
GAG600 (0-10 SCFH) and GAG610 (0-20 SCFH)
This assembly is used to set and monitor normal operating parameters of CWT ozone generators. To achieve correct SCFH and
vacuum make adjustments with the gauge assembly adjustment needle valve on the SCFH meter and the ball valve on the venturi
injector manifold. See the Normal Operating Parameters chart below, for SCFH and Vacuum set points.

Choose one of the options for installation, A, B or C. Remove the
barbed air prep inlet fitting form the ozone generator bulkhead for
installation A and B.
A. If the air prep inlet brass bulkhead fitting is 1/8” fpt, teflon tape
the top pipe fitting and thread the assembly it into the air prep inlet
brass bulkhead fitting of the ozone generator.
B. If the air prep inlet brass bulkhead fitting is 1/4" fpt, teflon tape
the top pipe fitting of the gauge assembly and the brass 1/4" mpt X
1/8” fpt reducer bushing provided. Thread the reducer bushing
onto the gauge assembly top pipe fitting. Finally, thread the
assembly into the air prep inlet brass bulkhead fitting.
C. Attach the 2-1/4” long tubing provided to the ozone generator
barbed air prep inlet fitting and secure with a hose clamp. Attach
the gauge assembly to the other end of the 2-1/4” long tubing at the
top pipe fitting and secure with a hose clamp provided.
Attach the air preparation delivery line to the gauge assembly air
inlet fitting and secure with a hose clamp.

Remove the “External Air Prep Loop” located on the bottom panel
of the ozone generator (3/8” braided tubing).
Remove the barbed fitting threaded into the left brass bulkhead
fitting located on the ozone generator.
Choose one of the two options for installation, A or B.
A. If the left brass bulkhead fitting is 1/8” fpt, teflon tape the top
pipe fitting of the gauge assembly. Thread the assembly into the
left brass bulkhead fitting.
B. If the left brass bulkhead fitting is 1/4" fpt, teflon tape the top
pipe fitting and the brass 1/4" mpt X 1/8” fpt reducer bushing
provided. Thread the reducer bushing onto the top pipe fitting.
Finally, thread the assembly into the left brass bulkhead fitting.
Modify the dry air inlet fitting on the gauge assembly so that it is
in the same orientation as the figure shown to the right.
Attach the 8” long tubing provided to make the connection
between the air inlet fitting on the gauge assembly and the air
outlet brass barbed fitting (right side) of the ozone generator and
secure with the hose clamps provided.
