The Tours and specific talks will be running throughout the day and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
These tours will provide you with an opportunity to see the facilities in our buildings, to meet staff and students, and to have
your questions answered. Your information pack will give you more information about ECS. Drop in sessions run between
12noon and 1.30pm where you can meet our Admissions Tutors, and tour the computer labs and undergraduate facilities. Refreshments will be available. The Careers talk will tell you all about ECS employability initiatives which ensure excellent
graduate prospects for our students.
Above: First-year Electronics Engineering student Dominic Maskell (left) is building a quadcopter this summer, with support from the
ECS Student Development Fund. Once completed Dominic will use the copter to research its use as an autonomous vehicle, using a
combination of sensors such as gyros, magnetometers, barometers, ultrasonic sensors, GPS, and an FPV camera.
