Chaos Visual Productions and Mrs. Carter Take The Show to Europe
FEBRUARY 27, 2014- BURBANK, CALIF.- Chaos Visual
Productions continues its run as video supplier on
Beyonce’s The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour 2014 as it
works its way through Europe. The European leg of the
tour, which began Feb. 20, in Glasgow, UK, is gearing
up for a six-night stint at London’s O2 Arena that
begins Feb. 28. The tour will then make stops in
Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Spain
before wrapping up in Portugal on March 27.
Beyonce’s world tour production, managed by Malcom
Weldon, brings the eye-popping designs of LeRoy
Bennett to life on a main LED wall that is 18-m wide x
3.5-m high, a band riser facia comprised of Winvision
18.75mm, and a flying set made of Winvision Adeco
Nodes. The production also calls for an HD PPU with a
Kayak 2.0 ME switcher, 6- Sony HXC 100 HD cameras,
1- Jimmy Jib Hot Head Remote camera, 2- 86:1 long
lens, 1- 72:1 long lens, 2- Standard hand held
cameras, 4- Sony BRC 700 Robo cameras, 2- Barco
FLM 20K projectors, 2- Christie HD 10K-M projectors,
and 2- Hippo i7 media servers with HDSDI input.
Parkwood Entertainment produces the video content
with a collaboration of Ed Burke, visual director of Parkwood Entertainment, and a number of video
artists and directors. Loren Barton is the video programmer of the production with each show directed
by lighting director, Whitney Hoversten and image director, Gary Odom.
The supporting Chaos crew for the European leg of the tour consists of: Dustin King/crew chief, Jon
Schulman/engineer, Sean Harper/LED, Jeff Apregan/LED, Nate Fountain, Jr./projection, David
Jacobs/projection, and Kyle Brinkman/video.
