Symposium programme 26 May 2015 (Tue) – start of registration at the venue (from the afternoon) 27-29 May 2015 (Wed-Fri) – registration, paper and poster sessions, workshops, a dinner banquet, sightseeing in Nitra 30 May 2015 (Sat) – post-symposium excursion (facultative) – potential destinations (some to be combined): The Mlyňany Arboretum, Topoľčianky (stud farm, castle, European bison farm), wineries of Sebechleby, Banská Štiavnica, short walk to Žibrica Mt., etc. Detailed programme will be provided later in 2014. Deadlines 1 September 2014 31 October 2014 15 December 2014 30 January 2015 29 May 2015 – start of registration – deadline for submission of abstracts – announcement on acceptance of contributions (papers/posters) – deadline for regular fee (and excursion) payments – deadline for submission of full papers Registration Registration by e-mail is compulsory for all conference participants (including the members of the scientific board, organizing committee, invited speakers and workshop chairs). To register please fill in the registration form available at the Symposium website and submit it to the address [email protected]. You will receive an acknowledgement within the following 10 days. Your registration will be completed and valid after having paid the symposium fee. Participation to the Symposium is not conditioned by a presentation or a poster, only by a valid registration. The deadline for the fee transfer (money received at the account) is 30 January 2015. Abstracts and Proceedings Language of the Symposium and proceedings is English. Please prepare an abstract and a full version of your paper following the templates at the Symposium website. Please submit them within due deadlines to the Symposium e-mail address. Abstract can be of max. 2,500 characters including spaces. Full text paper can be of max. 7 pages format A4. Maximum poster size: width 60 cm, height 100 cm. Publication of abstracts and full papers will be possible only for an author with valid registration. The Scientific Board reserves the right to accept the contributions for oral or poster presentation and publication within the due deadline. Full texts of papers and posters presented at the Symposium will be published in a peer-reviewed book of proceedings. Its first volume will contain selected contributions and will be applied for indexing in the Web of Science (Thomson-Reuters). Transport Transport to and from the Symposium venue will not be organised. Frequent bus lines employ 1 – 1:30 hrs. to reach Nitra from the Bratislava central bus station or the Bratislava airport, trains about 2 hrs. (check at http://cp.atlas.sk/vlakbus/spojenie/). From the bus or train station (nearby) take the city-transport buses nr. 2, 4, 12, 14, 15, 25, 94 to reach the bus stop “Univerzity” (check the Google Maps or schedules and maps at http://imhd.zoznam.sk/nr/public-transport.html). The venue is across the avenue. The ticket is sold by the bus driver. The taxi from the bus/train stations in Nitra to the University costs 2-3 €.
