VIII Pass Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to assist patients and nursing personnel to provide efficient patient care to OPD and admitted patients. HOME HEALTH AID (HHA) Aim : To provide routine individualized healthcare to the elderly, convalescents or persons with disabilities at the patient's home. Duration: 6 Months (2 months Theory + 4 Month Practical / Clinical Training) Intake: 30 Eligibility: STD. VIII Pass Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to provide personal care at the patient's home, monitor or report changes in health status and assist patients while maintaining normal elimination process. DIABETES EDUCATOR (DE) Aim : To understand the impact of health behavior and lifestyle on acute and chronic problems of Diabetes and provide a comprehensive, cost effective and self-care management plan. Duration: 6 Months (2 months Theory + 4 Month Practical / Clinical Training) Intake: 30 Eligibility: STD. XII Science or Home Science Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to assess, set and plan the goals for the diabetic and pre diabetic patient as regards educating the patient about insulin administration, liaison with various health care providers and health care team for better quality of care to the diabetic patients. « Programme Fees : Rs. 15,000/- for each programme. « Financial assistance available through Government of India scheme.
