In 1998 I purchased a matched pair, selected by Frans for my stock loft. In 1999 twelve YB’s were selected by Frans from
his most productive stock birds, the proven ones were then selected by myself for my stock loft.The next person to actually
race direct Meldert birds was Mark Evans (Heart of England Auctions). He raced a son of Witten 93 00BELGE2306682,
who won 6 x 1st, 5 x 2nd, 4 x 3rd, an outstanding racer and now top producer. Mark also raced a Blue Pied hen
01BELGE2283351, she won 5 x 1st, 1st Central Counties 3 x 1st B/B races. She is now the Dam & G/Dam of winners. I
purchased the “Mark Evans Pair” in 2007.
