Gynatrof
Natural Vaginal Moisturizer
Immediate relief of dryness, itching, burning & painful sexual activity, associated with Vaginal Atrophy
Description
Gynatrof gel is designed to relieve the symptoms of vaginal atrophy
such as dryness, burning, itching and painful sexual activity, by enhancing the body’s natural moisture.
General Information
Symptoms of vaginal atrophy are common in women during their pre
and postmenopausal years and are largely due to the decline in the
level of the female hormone, estrogen.
As estrogen levels decrease, the vaginal walls become atrophic, dry
and can cause vaginal discomfort.
Vaginal atrophy can lead to the following symptoms:
• Painful sexual activity
• Dryness
• Burning
• Itching
• Bleeding
• Recurrent urinary tract infections
Initial therapy: The vaginal gel is administered once daily, for 7
consecutive days (preferably at bedtime).
Maintenance therapy: Administer the vaginal gel 2 times weekly
every 3 days.
Gynatrof can also be applied to the perivaginal area (the vaginal
opening and external area) using fingertip. Perivaginal application
can help to ease sexual activity and alleviate vulvar dryness.
Apply gel as needed, for as long as you desire and to maintain a
lasting effect.
Warning:
• The device (gel and applicator) is intended for individual use and
must not be shared.
• Keep out of reach of children.
Notes on Use
Using the applicator is similar to inserting a tampon.
A:
Pierce tube with end cap and
screw the applicator onto the
opening of the tube.
B.
Pull the piston and fill up the
applicator until the stop position
(approximately half of the
capacity) by pressing the tube,
to obtain one dose of Gynatrof
vaginal gel.
C.
Unscrew the applicator from the
tube, find a comfortable position
and insert the applicator into the
vagina. Gently push the piston
and empty the complete dose of
gel into the vagina.
Indication
Gynatrof is designed to relieve the symptoms of vaginal atrophy
and prevent the vaginal discomfort that can occur at any stage in
a woman’s life. The lack of estrogen can lead to alterations in the
vagina and can occur in the following situations:
•
•
•
•
•
During or after menopause
After childbirth
While breast feeding
When using hormone preparations (oral contraceptives)
During chemotherapy
Gynatrof protects the skin, tissue, improves lubrication, enhances
regeneration, and represents a safe alternative to hormone therapy.
Composition
Gynatrof is formulated using a patented liposomal technology that
supplies long lasting moisture to the dry vaginal mucosa. The active
complex of Gynatrof contains liposomes and hyaluronic acid.
Liposomes are microscopic beads, formulated as a moisturizer
and lubricant. Liposomes ensure that the vagina remains moist,
increase elasticity and provide vaginal hydration.
Hyaluronic acid is able to store extremely large quantities of water,
forms a natural moisturizing liquid film, is responsible for the
moisture and elasticity of the vaginal skin and has the following
important properties:
Protection: Protects the vaginal skin, reduces irritation and
prevents itching and burning.
Lubrication: Enhances natural lubrication and allows for normal
sexual activity.
Regeneration: Forms a liquid film to cover damaged skin in the
vagina and promotes healing.
Other ingredients of Gynatrof provide lubrication to the vagina and
calm symptoms such as itching and irritation.
All Ingredients: purified water, propylene glycol, denatured
ethanol, hop extract (Humulus lupulus), soya lecithin (E322),
carbomer, sodium methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate (E219), cholesterol,
imidazolidinylurea, sodium edentate, hyaluronic acid, sodium
propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate (E217), tocopherol acetate (vitamin E).
Mechanism of Action & Uses
Gynatrof is formulated using a patented liposomal technology that
supplies long-lasting moisture to the dry vaginal mucosa. The
natural extracts from the hops plant together with the Vitamin E
help prevent the aging of the vaginal area by enhancing the body’s
own natural moisture and maintaining vaginal tone and firmness.
This innovative liposomal formulation improves the natural
moistness of the vagina and supports the regeneration of the
vaginal mucous membrane (during estrogen deficiency). Gynatrof
maintains tension and moistness in the perivaginal and vaginal
tissue and can be used to facilitate sexual activity.
It is advisable to apply a thin layer of the gel on the applicator’s edge
to facilitate insertion into the vagina.
After use, clean the applicator thoroughly as follows:
• To dismantle the applicator, press the white round tip of the
piston down against any hard surface until it clicks to release.
• Remove the piston from the cylinder and wash with lukewarm
water: rub with fingers to remove any excess gel, fill and drain
the cylinder repeatedly with water. Shake the cylinder to remove
excess water and dry with a clean towel.
• Store the dismantled applicator in the original carton box until
next use. To reassemble the applicator, insert the thin end of the
piston into the wider threaded end of the cylinder and with light
pressure, click the piston back into place.
Gynatrof vaginal gel can be used with condoms.
