Professional Training Catalogue Training Training plays a vital role in conveying and maintaining knowledge. The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie considers training as more than a service proposed; it is a value it upholds. The Foundation has a mission to unlock the mysteries of time measurement for horology’s many admirers, but also to arm sales staff with the understanding that is essential to their job. Through its professional training, the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie responds to the needs of sales teams at watchmakers and retailers worldwide. Training means developing new skills, together. Training Courses 1 - INITIATION TO WATCHMAKING WORKSHOP Through its initiation workshops, the FHH offers a first taste of the micromechanics of watchmaking. Assisted by professionals, participants take apart then assemble a simple mechanical movement. Material: movement (ETA 6497-1, decorated) and tools are supplied Number of participants: 10 people maximum Duration: 3 hours Each participant receives a certificate. 2 - THEORY-BASED COURSES The FHH proposes some fifty theory-based classes, in four categories: - The culture of time - Fundamental watchmaking techniques - Complications - Techniques in watch sales Material: adapted to each course Number of participants: 15 people maximum Duration: 4 hours minimum 3 - TAILOR-MADE SOLUTIONS Initiations to watchmaking and theory-based courses can be combined on request to create a training package that is adapted to your needs.
