Date of Birth mentioned in the certificate will be taken as certificate of age proof. 4) The applicant will also have to produce a certificate from the Police Station serving his/her locality that “NO CRIMINAL CASE IS PENDING AGAINST HIM/HER”. 5) Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) is entitled to collect service charge @ ` 1/(Rupees One)only per passenger in case of Platform Tickets also. 6) There is no change in the validity period of Platform Tickets being sold by Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS). 7) Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) counters to be operated outside the Railway premises. 8) Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) operators have been permitted to operate one additional counter provided the sale of tickets is more than 800(eight hundred) per day on each counter for at least a period of one month. 9) Service charge of ` 1/-(Rupees one)only per passenger collected by Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) operator caters to the investments made by the operator. 10) The Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) will not sublet, assign or transfer the right or obligations arising out of the contract. In case of death of licencee, the will be transferred to his/her legal heir(s) for the unexpired period of licence by the Competent Authority and the legal heir(s) will also be eligible to apply for extension to the licence. 11) The check of lower financial limit of ` 10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand), up to which Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) can issue tickets, has to be provided in the system universally for all Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak (JTBS) so that tickets by Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) cannot be issued if the amount deposited by them is less than ` 10,000/-(Rupees Ten thousand). ___________________ Full Signature of applicant. 5 12) TBS will be responsible for the safe custody of the Ticket Rolls. In case of any loss on this account, necessary debit will be raised against him/her as per extant instructions. Proper record of Ticket Rolls issued to the JTBS will be kept by the Commercial Department of the station serving the JTBS.JTBS will be submit the accounts of sale of ticket to serving station on daily basis along with value of tickets sold. Proper accountability of UTS Ticket stationery shall be ensured. 13) JTBS will procure UTS Terminal for which all the costs initial as well as recurring including equipments and channels hiring would have to be borne by JTBS. 14) The successful applicant should have to procure following hardware at your own cost from the authorized vendors. For up-keeping the functioning of all the system, should maintain the hardware at your own cost through OEM or the authorized agent. During execution of the agreement, receipts/vouchers of the following equipments mentioned below must be brought with you for production of the same before the Railway Administration. On completion/ termination of contract pending dues will be adjusted from the security deposit and balance will be refunded to Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS). 17) In case the Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS)operator express inability to operate Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS), after appointment as Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) operator, the Bank Guarantee as well as the security deposit made by the Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) operator will be forfeited. 18) Applicant should be a local resident of the area served by the station. 19) The premises for issue of Unreserved Tickets should have easy accessibility of the public. 20) Initial period of contract will be for three years which may be extended yearly on the basis of satisfactory performance and may be increased for the next three years, subject to extension of contract for a one year at a time. The license of Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sewak(JTBS) may be considered for extension beyond a period of 6(six) years on yearly basis subject to certification of satisfactory performance(both financially as well as operationally by Competent Authority. _________________ Full Signature of applicant. 6 21) JBTS will submit a daily statement to the Station Master/Manager or any other nominated officer indicating the details of Tickets sold along with the value. Station Master/Manager or any other nominated officer will maintain proper record of daily sale of Tickets by JTBS. A consolidated statement of Tickets Rolls supplied to and details of Tickets sold by JTBS will be submitted by Station Master/Manager or any other nominated officer to Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager/Divisional Commercial Manager,Northeast Frontier Railway, Katihar every month. JTBS will not issue Tickets from Station Premises. All Computerized Tickets wrongly printed or wrongly issued or otherwise are classified as non-issued. In case of above problem/defects, the operator can non-issue the Ticket by pressing a single key provided in the Key Board i.e. Non issued transactions should immediately follow the transaction which are being nonissued. 22) JTBS should be working round the clock. 23) Initial period of contract will be for two years which may be extended yearly on the basis of satisfactory performance and may be increased for the next three years. 24) Applicant should submit the Sketch plan of location with land mark along with application. 25) The original certificates may have to be produced at the time of interview, if required. Recommendation from any source will be a disqualification on the part of the application and such applications are liable to be rejected. Incomplete applications will also be rejected.
