Acquisition of AFRAMAX Tanker
1. Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) as Managers invite offers
through shipbrokers enlisted with Baltic Exchange for acquisition of ONE
AFRAMAX Crude Oil Double Hull Tanker.
2. The Offered AFRAMAX Crude Oil tanker shall meet following minimum criteria:

One AFRAMAX Crude Oil Tanker
DWT: About 105,000 equivalent to about 115,000 Cubic meters
AGE: About 10 years
Building Yard: Any reputable yard.
Construction: Double Hull fully complying with requirements of SOLAS &
MARPOL 73/78.
Inert Gas System (IGS) and Crude Oil Washing (COW) of capacity suitable
for size of the ship and compliant with latest requirement of SOLAS,
MARPOL and OCIMF.
SPM Arrangements – Equipped and fitted with ONE SPM arrangements
compliant with latest criteria of OCIMF and SOLAS with minimum ONE chain
stopper of tongue type of SWL 200 Tons
Design: Conventional Pump Room
Segregation: Minimum Three (3) – 2 valve segregation.
Pumps:
i. Cargo Pumps – minimum 3 in Numbers of centrifugal type each of
capacity 2500 m3/hr, combined capacity 7500 m3/hr.

ii. Cargo Stripping Pump and Cargo Stripping Eductors of capacity 200 m /h
iii. Ballast Pumps: Two (2) of centrifugal type with combined capacity of
about 3000m3/hr.
Cargo Tanks:
i. Nos: 12+2 (Slops) Please describe as to fully coated / partially Coated /
uncoated.
ii. Type of Coating: Pure Epoxy, if other please describe.
iii. Installed with coils for heating cargo.
l. Main Engine: MAN B&W / SULZER – Minimum 6 units or above.
m. Diesel Generators: 3 units make Daihatsu / Wartsila / Yanmar (preferably 6
units) and all operating on Heavy Fuel Oil (HFO).
n. Service speed approx. 15 knots.
o. Boilers: Two (2), Preferably Aalborg / Mitsubishi make using Heavy Fuel Oil
(HFO).

p. Cargo Hose Handling Gear: 1 or 2 cranes of minimum 15 tons SWL.
q. Provision and Machinery Handling Gear: One (1) set, 4 MT SWL.
r. Air Conditioning System: Designed to meet weather condition of Middle
East/Gulf region.
3. Any additional information/Special features may also be provided.
4. Terms of Sale Agreement will be in line with Norwegian Sales Form NSF 1993
/ 2012 / Nippon 1999/1993 subject to mutually agreed logical additions /
amendments.
5. PNSC reserves the right to accept / reject any or all offers without any
obligation to reveal the reasons thereof.
