General information about graphic programmes
You need a graphic program which allows you to create special colours as colour mode (e.g. InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, CorelDraw
etc.) Office programmes and image editing programmes are not suitable for the creation of this product!
Full-tone colours HKS K or PANTONE C
HKS- and PANTONE- colours are produced as seperate colours and are printed directly.
Please use the exact number of colours for each print area according to your order.
Examples
Print area: Body 2 coloured / Clip 1 coloured
Full-tone colour: HKS K
Body: HKS 1 K, HKS 13 K / Clip: HKS 47 K
Print area: Body 2 coloured / Clip 1 coloured
Full-tone colour: PANTONE C
Body: PANTONE 286 C, PANTONE 355 C / Clip: PANTONE Yellow C
Use of full-tone colours



Please use only full-tone colours from the HKS K or PANTONE C (Solid Coated) colour palette.
Give a name to the full-tone colour according to the following example:
HKS 1 K
PANTONE 286 C
HKS 13 K
PANTONE 355 C
HKS 47 K
PANTONE Yellow C
Please ensure correct spelling including blank characters.



Do not use CMYK, RGB, LAB or other full-tone colours (such as e.g. HKS Z).
The full-tone colours have a tonal value of 100% (do not use colour raster half-tonal values ).
Do not use graphic effects such as colour gradient, shadows or transparencies etc.
Use of „White“ (WHITE)
White is no HKS- or PANTONE colour. When using white in your layout, please take note of the following instructions:


Graphic elements or backgrounds which are created with the colour white (also applies for areas in „paperwhite“), have to be
defined as full-tone colour also.
This colour layer must be called WHITE. (Please take care of the spelling)

Print area: Body 2 coloured / Clip 1 coloured
Full-tone colour: HKS K
Body: HKS 1 K, HKS 13 K / Clip: WHITE
Binding specifications



Please only use vector graphics.
Font size at least 6 pt or. 1.2 mm font height for small letters.
Font thickness and typographical lines, positive lines (line in full-tone colour) and negative lines (surrounding of line in full-tone
colour) at least 0.5 pt (0.18 mm).
Tipps


Please use sans serif fonts (e.g. Arial).
Black corresponds to HKS 88 K, or. PANTONE BLACK C.
