The STOP WASTING FOOD! campaigns, which were launched in eight different countries over platforms and social networks, are fun and entertaining – this aims to maximize the viral effect. I C O . Starting from the recognisable linear presentation of the news stories from television, ICO and ARD developed together an interactive platform that allows the user to easily access as much or as little information as he/she requires. The process of accessing news becomes dynamic rather than linear. I C O . P O R T F O L I O . 1 2 RENAULT GLOBAL DIGITAL STRATEGY ICO was commissioned by DIGITAS as a creative think tank to develop a new concept and design for the world wide digital presence of Renault international. P O R T F O L I O . 1 3 RENAULT GLOBAL DIGITAL STRATEGY The project involved coming up with ideas for applications and interactive modules that can be extended right across the variety of user platforms, from the internet to mobile devices and social networks. The spots had their premiere at the CES in Las Vegas. I C O . P O R T F O L I O . 1 7 LIFE IN HYPERREAL COMMERCIALS FOR SAMSUNG KOREA ICO’s concept was to show real life situations in unusual ways – as a metaphor for the new high-quality viewing experience. I C O . P O R T F O L I O . 1 8 SPIEGEL HISTORY ON-SCREEN IDENTITY ICO developed the on-screen identity for the Pay-TV channel Spiegel Geschichte on SKY. I C O . P O R T F O L I O . 1 9 SPIEGEL HISTORY ON-SCREEN IDENTITY The project involved all areas of conception, visualization, animation, music composition and production. All elements were produced as interconnecting modules to allow for seamless, simple combining and handling within the station. I C O . P O R T F O L I O . 2 1 AGENTS COMPLEX SYSTEMS MADE SIMPLE Thomas Schelling, in 1971, showed that a small preference for one’s neighbors to be of the same color could lead to total segregation. He used coins on graph paper to demonstrate his theory by placing pennies and nickels in different patterns on the “board” and then moving them one by one if they were in an “unhappy” situation. We combine narrative structures with agent-based modeling for unveiling the underlying patterns in complex systems. I C O . The sets are a combination of virtual 3D graphics (buildings and streetscapes) and “dogville-esque“ real sets (interiors) where a colourful array of characters interact. I C O . The user becomes immersed in the story by choosing from a number of short clips. I C O .
