Domus IP 55 IK 09 Class I Class II Domus is a stylish contemporary decorative lantern for typical mounting up to 4m. Its optical system is formed by a prismatic bowl and a segmented reflector to achieve a high luminous performance while limiting light pollution. Technical lighting catalogue 2010/12 66 Applications Consult pages 16-19 Lamps High pressure sodium up to 150W Ceramic metal halide up to 150W Domus COMPONENTS Road & Amenity lighting 1 Spigot in high pressure die-cast L-2521 aluminium alloy. Corrosion resistant, painted in a textured black polyester powder. Provided with an EPDM gasket molded in a single piece. Stainless steel bolts for column fixing (Ø 60mm) are included. 2 Clamping chuck for the trunk-conical bowl. Made of L-2521 injected aluminium alloy. The locking pressure is done through external screws incorporated to the spigot. 6 3 Gear tray manufactured in temperature resistant thermoplastic material. Electromagnetic control gear incorporated. 5 4 Steel frame galvanised steel to fix and adjust the lamp holder. It is equipped with a clamp and a feed cable connection plug. 4 5 Bowl with internal prisms made of injected high impact methacrylate. It is formed by two parts mechanically joined through pressure and through an adhesive. 3 2 7 6 Reflector anodised and hydroformed aluminium. Symmetrical and vertically multifacetted. The reflector fixing is done by means of screws internally attached to the trunk cone. 1 7 Cable connection in the spigot to allow the cable to enter up to Ø 12mm. Connection to the terminals by means of an internal plug. Conventional reflector Segmented reflector Light control The Domus lantern optical system incorporates the segmented reflector technology, allowing an increase of more than 40% in the lantern luminous performance as compared to the equivalent conventional reflector. Each segment of the reflector is carefully oriented in such a way that light reflection on the lamp and on other internal components of the lantern is greatly reduced. This extends the lanterns service life. Control of the direction of the light reflected in the lantern interior together with the refraction of the bowl prisms, allow a decrease in light pollution, generating an optimum photometric distribution. 67 Domus SETS & BRACKETRY For a further integration of lantern and column towards a more decorative arrangement, a number of brackets (consult chapter Supports) is available. Some examples are shown here. 5m 4m 6 3m 2m 1m 1 2 3 1 2 3 4 5 6 Technical lighting catalogue 2010/12 4 Faro 1 3.5m column - with Domus IJX-SMT Cannes 35-ICG column - with Domus IJX-SMT Calgary 35-ICK column - with Domus IJX-SMT Capri 35-ICE column with an IBX single bracket - with Domus IJX-SMT Capri 40-ICE column with an IBX double bracket - with Domus IJX-SMT IBX wall bracket - with Domus IJX-SMT 68 5 Domus PHOTOMETRY, MODELS & DIMENSIONS Domus IJX-SMT Road & Amenity lighting Domus IJX-SMT Domus IJX-SMT Reflector Srd200 180 135 90 45 cd/Klm Lamp ST-100 140 Performance ULOR: 10.7% DLOR: 68.5% 60º 443 219 Reflector Srd200 105 70 35 cd/Klm Lamp ST-150 501 Performance ULOR: 11% DLOR: 61.3% 60º 70 30º 0º MODEL TYPE Domus IJX-SMT ST/MT-70 ST/MT-100 ST/MT-150 30º 30º SHAPE 0º 60 30º LAMP HOLDER REFLECTOR BOWL E27 E40 E40 Srd200 Methacrylate high impact ST (High pressure sodium) MT (Ceramic metal halide) W.a.
