UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS Interoute SmartPoint Datasheet Product Overview Interoute SmartPoint is a flexible video conference device with a revolutionary delivery model developed by Interoute. The product alters the stereotypical video- conference market with predetermined configurations, and gives customers the ability to make the choices that meet their needs. This is an all-in-one device, including the following components; Codec: Interoute SmartPoint comes with a multi-vendor selection of video codecs. This is to cater for different brand standards within companies. The codec is hidden inside the stand to keep its sleek design. Software: Different software options after codec choice to match any possible need. E.g. high resolution 1080p. Camera: Interoute SmartPoint is suitable for any type of conference room due to various cameras and zoom options. E.g. 4x zoom or 12x zoom. Screen: LED screens to match the slim design of the stand with a wide screen range from 46”-55”. The simplicity of mounting the screen allows it to be upgraded after the original installation if e.g. demands for larger screen arise. SmartPoint Single SmartPoint Dual 1 www.interoute.com UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS Interoute SmartPoint Datasheet Delivery and Deployment Interoute SmartPoint comes with Interoute's unique delivery and deployment model, meaning that Interoute’s SmartPoint devices are sent on a pallet, pre-configured and ready to be installed. For SmartPoint Single – As standard the customer self-installs the product. An Interoute on-site installation can be arranged as an option. For self-installs the customer simply unpacks the product, lifts on the screen, plugs in the power and network connections and routes the content/presentation and microphone cables to the meeting desk. It could not be easier. For SmartPointDual – This product is installed on-site by Interoute. Self-install is currently not available with this product due to its size. Typical Applications Suitable for meeting rooms that require a high quality video conferencing system that is simple and quick to selfinstall and where a wall mounted solution is not mandated. Especially suitable for rooms that cannot support a wall-mounted video conferencing system or where it is uncertain whether or not the wall structure is strong enough for a wall mounted solution without having a site survey at additional expense. Also suitable for rooms where minimal business and environmental intrusion is required since there is no dust or dirt produced during installation and therefore no redecorating or cleaning post installation is required. The supplied microphone must be placed within 5m from the centre of the base of the SmartPoint. The microphone and content/presentation cables from the SmartPoint should be routed under the floor to the meeting table/desk and up on to the middle of the desk. If it is not possible to route under the floor then the cables must be contained within an anti-trip cable protector to be placed on top of the floor and provided by the customer. Where the optional Touch Panel is selected then if the codec is a Cisco SX20 or Polycom Group 500 there must be ONE additional power socket available and ONE network port available within 5m of the meeting table/desk. Benefits to the customer are: 1 2 Significantly cheaper than the equivalent Cisco Profile or Polycom Media Centre products All parts arrive at the same time on one pallet.
