Below are just a few of the accomplishments of ITC Global so far this year: March also marked the launch of an upgraded version of the company’s quick deployment 1.4 meter stabilized antenna skid system, a turn-key package designed exclusively for short-term satellite communications for offshore oil rigs and support vessels. The Rebrand Launch Successfully Positions ITC Global as Top 3 Industry Provider In March, we launched our new ITC Global brand with tremendous success. At the Satellite 2014 tradeshow in Washington D.C., the company garnered attention from industry analysts, trade reporters, and Fortune 500 caliber clients. Already, ITC Global has been called “the one to watch” in the remote satellite communications market. And we are regularly listed among the top three players in the market alongside companies more than twice our size. Our competitive advantage of uncompromising and responsive customer service is beginning to be recognized in the market. Most of the new sales come from the offshore energy market, ITC Global’s fastest growing segment, and serve customers in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea, and West Africa. The deployments include complete networks connecting offshore facilities to operations centers, as well as new quick deployment systems for shorter duration projects. One particular project in West Africa included the deployment of two large scale 4.8 meter earth stations at local shore bases, and an upgrade of 15 existing offshore Page 2 strategic investment to enhance the company’s ability to serve emerging clients requirements. The company already has a similar customer portal in place for its commercial maritime customers, and plans to expand the features to mining and other markets later this year. INDUSTRY HIGHLIGHTS SIA 2014 State of the Satellite Industry Report The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) released its 2014 State of the Satellite Industry Report, showing a moderate growth rate - Overall industry growth was led by the satellite services segment, the traditional driver for the industry, which saw its revenues Satellite Launch Industry revenues, which include revenues for all commercially-competed launches that occurred in 2012, though U.S. revenues increased by 17 percent, rising cially procured launches conducted worldwide increased Satellite Ground Equipment revenues continued to increase, higher than the year prior. Satellite ground equipment revenues saw modest growth, while satellite launch revenues decreased. This is the seventeenth year in which SIA has issued its annual State of the Satellite Industry Report. The report polled over 80 satellite companies, both SIA members and non-members and reporting, to assess the performance of four satellite industry sectors: satellite services, satellite manufacturing, satellite launch industry, and ground equipment. Consumer ground equipment, including satellite TV, satellite broadband, mobile satellite terminals, and navigation devices, constituted the bulk of these revenues. While these new technologies are still in the early stages, they show great promise to offer more cost effective means to deliver multi-megabit data rates over satellite. ITC Global is currently evaluating and conducting live testing of different HTS technologies to determine the long term applicability in the oil & gas, mining, and maritime markets. Summarized below are the most prominent HTS satellite systems emerging on the market over the next few years.
