The renewed JR Kanto Area Pass lets you ride the JR-Tobu direct train that goes from
Shinjuku and Ikebukuro to Nikko and Kinugawa. Why not take this opportunity to visit

• Within the free area, passengers may freely use reserved seats in ordinary cars on limited express trains (including Shinkansen),
express trains, and ordinary trains, on all JR East lines (see map at right), all Tokyo Monorail lines, all Izu Kyuko lines, all Fujikyuko
lines, all Joshin Dentetsu lines, the Saitama New Urban Transit (New Shuttle) line (between Omiya Station and TetsudoHakubutsukan Station), and Tobu Railway lines (between Kurihashi Station and Tobu-nikko Station / Kinugawa-onsen Station).*2*3
• On limited express trains on Tobu Railway lines (between Kurihashi Station and Tobu-nikko Station / Kinugawa-onsen Station),
only reserved seats in ordinary cars on the JR-Tobu direct train can be used. Between Shimo-imaichi Station and Tobu-nikko
Station / Kinugawa-onsen Station, non-reserved seats in ordinary cars on ordinary trains (including rapid service and section
rapid service trains) can be used.
• It is also possible to access Narita Airport (N’EX) and Haneda Airport (Tokyo Monorail).
• Usage note: When using the JR Kanto Area Pass, please carry your passport with you and present it when requested by staff.
In addition, please check in advance the ‘Information about Transport Conditions’ printed on the backing.
*1. Purchase or use that overlaps periods of bus usage is not possible.
