Ecoform Care
Chemical form Release Compound for Precasters
Description
Ecoform Care is a chemical agent for use on both wooden and steel moulds. Ecoform Care
offers protection to both steel and timber formwork as it acts as a rust inhibitor and
waterproofer.
Uses
Ecoform Care can be used with excellent effect on formwork designed to
produce all types of finishes, from fair-faced to textured. Ecoform Care has
been found to assist in the protection of equipment used on the handling and
Placing of concrete. A thin coating on Bowls, Barrows, Skips, Shovels, etc.
Will make these easier to clean and protect against corrosion.
Application
Ecoform Care can be applied by either spray, brush, or roller. Surfaces

1 liter of Ecoform Care will cover up to 19 m² for timber and up to 30 m²
for metal forms.

Ecoform Care is flammable and should not be used near naked flame.
Handling Precautions

Eco Mould Release Agent EB
Emulsion Based Mould Release Agent
Description
A carefully blended combination of refined mineral oils and emulsifying agents, producing a
thin film stable release agent.
Types
Eco MRA EB and Eco MRA EBH(Highly Concentrated)
Uses
Eco MRA EB, when applied to steel, plastic and timber formwork,
allows clean, fast and easy striking.
Advantages
Eco MRA EB provides the following properties:

Application
One coat application by brush, roller or spray. Eco MRA EB is ready
for use and requires no mixing but adequate stirring is advisable.
New formwork should be kept dry after Eco Mould Release EB has
been applied, it should be protected from rain and frost. Do not water
the applied coating even when the surface is dry. Eco MRA EB should
be allowed to dry before concreting takes place.

Eco Split BBWX

Description

Uses
Eco Split BBWX, is used for “match-cast”, “tilt-up” and “tilt-slab”

When accidental overdosing occurs, this will have effect of extending the setting time. During
this period the concrete must be kept moist in order to prevent premature drying out.

Description
ADMIXTURE
A highly effective dual action liquid super-plasticizer for the production of free-flowing concrete
or as a substantial water-reducing agent for promoting high, early and ultimate strengths.

Dosage
0.5 – 3.0% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect
sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature.
It is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
Dispensing
Ecocrete XP can be added to the mixing water prior to its addition to the aggregates or as in
most cases, it can be added directly to the freshly mixed concrete. When added directly to the
freshly mixed concrete, the plasticizing effect is more pronounced. For ready-mix concrete,
Ecocrete XP is added to the concrete immediately prior to discharge and after further mixing
has taken place for three minutes.

Health and Safety
Ecocrete XP is generally safe to use provided certain precautions normally taken when handling chemicals are
observed. Avoid skin contact, wear gloves and necessary goggles if splashing of the product may be found. In the
event of contamination, wash thoroughly with clean water. If the eyes or mouth are affected, wash with clean

Compatibility
Ecocrete XP is compatible with all types of portland cement including SRC. Ecocrete XP is compatible in concrete
with all known admixture types currently available, but must be added separately to the mix and not pre-mixed prior
to addition.

Example of Use
Extensive investigations have been carried out in our own Concrete Laboratory at various sites, ready-mixed
concrete plants and pre-cast concrete works, using average concrete mixes or normal production mixes. The
example quotes is representative of the results obtained and is intended to illustrate the application of Ecocrete XP.
It will be realized that general trends only can be indicated, which may act as guides for other mix trials.

Specification
Concrete shall be designed in accordance with ACI211.1-89 “Standard recommended
practice for selecting proportions for concrete”, and shall contain a super-plasticizer
which shall be Ecocrete SP1, as manufactured by Econtech. It shall be used in strict

EcoPlast ZEG
Expanding and Plasticising Admixture for
Cementitious Grout
Description
EcoPlast ZEG is an expanding grout admixture that by introducing micro bubble into the mix
produces wet volume expansion and increased fluidity without segregation.
Uses
EcoPlast ZEG is used to increase cohesion of sand / cement grouts and
is suitable for the grouting of:
* Pre-stressed cable ducts
* Rock and sail anchoring
* Bearing plates
* Pre-placed aggregates
* Tunnel linings
* Pre-cast concrete elements
* Tilt up construction wall panels
Advantages * EcoPlast ZEG plasticises the mix allowing an approximate reduction in water
up to 20% for equal liquidity, thus improving the strength and hardened
properties of the grout.
* Gas generated during setting produces minute evenly distributed bubbles
causing expansion to take place thus compensating for normal drying
shrinkage.
* The initial retarding effect of EcoPlast ZEG and its plasticising action greatly
improves grout penetration and substantially reduces water separation and
bleeding.
* The expansive forces generated promote complete filling of voids and fissures.
Application
The preferred method of addition of EcoPlast ZEG is by premixing it with the gauging water. If
this is not possible it can however be premixed with the dry cement / sand mixture providing it
is thoroughly mixed.
Important Notes
Neither suitable for cement containing fly ash nor for use in underground mines.

Eco Latex
MORTAR ADMIXTURE
Water Resistant Bonding Agent for Mortar
Description
A synthetic rubber emulsion for adding to cement mortars where good adhesion and water
resistance are required.
Uses
Eco Latex is a high quality emulsion that substantially increases the
qualities of cement mortars, such as:
- Thin layer patching mortars
- Renders
- Floor screeds
- Concrete repair mortars
- Abrasion resistant linings
- Tile fixing mortars
- Masonry mortars
Advantages
Eco Latex is simply added to the mixing water to provide the following
beneficial properties:

- NB: Eco latex does not re-emulsify, even in high alkaline conditions.
Application
Surface Preparation
Concrete surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, grease, cement laitance and
all loosely adhering particles. Absorbent surfaces should be saturated thoroughly.
Materials
Aggregates should be well graded and thoroughly washed. Sand particle sizes should
correspond to the thickness of mortar to be applied and required surface finish.

Dilution Rates
Eco Latex is generally added to the clean mixing water within the range 1:1 – 1:4 . For all
applications apart from sprayed on renders ,a bonding coat of Eco Latex – water 1:1 mixed
with fresh cement should be brushed into the prepared surface. Subsequently mortar
application must be carried out whilst the bonding coat is still wet.

Eco Grout FS
CEMENTITIOUS MORTAR
Non-shrink /Self-leveling Cementitious Grout
Description
Eco Grout FS is a non-shrink self leveling, pre-mixed cementitious grouting mortar with
extended working time to suit local ambient temperature.
Uses
Eco Grout FS is suitable for repairs to concrete structures and the following
grouting works: machine foundations, rail beds, columns in pre-cast,
construction anchor bolts, bridge bearings cavities, gaps, recesses.

Application
Surface preparation
Concrete surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, greases, laitance and loose
particles. Metal surfaces (iron and steel) should be free from scale, rust, oil and grease
Absorbent substance must be saturated thoroughly, but no standing water.
Mixing
Powder should be added to the pre-gauged water to suit the desired consistency. Mix
mechanically with a low speed drill (max. 500 rpm) with a disc agitator attached, until a
smooth, even consistency is achieved.
Application Proper
Pour mortar after mixing. Ensure that air entertained into the grout is allowed to escape.
When carrying out base plate grouting, ensure sufficient head of pressure is maintained to
keep mortar flow uninterrupted. Make sure that necessary formwork is firmly in place and
watertight.
Cleaning

1. Grouting of Machine Beds
Pre-wet thoroughly, no standing water in bolt holes. If possible, grout anchor bolt first, then the mortar bed in
a second operation. Ensure continues flow of mortar. Distance between anchor bolt and substrate to be at least
3x max. Diameter of mortar aggregates (approx. 10 mm.)

Pre-wetting for approx. 24 hrs. But with no standing water. Maintain constant hydrostatic pressure to ensure

Application
Surface preparation
Concrete surfaces should be clean, sound and free from oil, greases, laitance and loose
particles. Metal surfaces (iron and steel) should be free from scale, rust, oil and grease
Absorbent substance must be saturated thoroughly, but no standing water.
Mixing
The pre-mixed powder is added to water to suit the desired consistency. For flowable
consistency, approximately 4.2 liters of water per 25 kg bag is required. Mix mechanically for
2-3 min. with a slow-speed drill (max. 500 RPM) until a smooth even consistency is achieved.
Application Proper
After mixing, allow the mortar to rest for a while, stirring lightly to ensure that air displayed by
the grouting is allowed to escape. When carrying out base plate grouting, ensure that sufficient
pressure head is maintained to keep mortar flow uninterrupted. Make sure the necessary
formwork is firmly in place and kept watertight. Eco Grout HS may be placed In thickness up to
a maximum of 50mm at one pour. Where large areas are to be placed, it is important to
maintain a continues flow throughout. It is necessary to organize the work sequence properly
(manpower, materials, etc.) to ensure an uninterrupted flow. In such large area, Eco Grout HS
may also be pumped. A heavy duty diaphragm pump is recommended for this purpose. Screw
feed and piston pumps may also be used.

Specific Application
Grouting under base plate:

Grouting large volumes: For sections thicker than 50mm it is necessary to fill the Eco Grout HS
with graded 10mm silt free aggregate to minimize temperature rise. The quantity of aggregate
should not exceed 1 part aggregate to 1 part Eco Grout HS by weight. For such mixes,
a conventional concrete mixer and pump may be used.

Ecofill

Cementitious Plaster for Interior & Exterior Surfaces
Description
Ecofill is a cement based filling and leveling plaster for concrete surfaces. It helps to correct
concrete surface imperfections. Ecofill consists of finely crushed white marble and highgrade sand aggregates of constant quality and composition, modified with alkali-resistant
additives.
Types & Uses
Ecofill CTA B is applied for already smooth concrete surfaces. It is the best
substitute for the non-value operation like “chipping”. Where thicker
conventional plastering is required, CTA B will serve as the base.
Ecofill CTA can directly be applied onto concrete hollow blocks and on
concrete surfaces like walls.
Ecofill Mortar is a standard grade, grey color plaster ideal for columns &
beams where minor corrections are required. Minor holes deeper
than 4 mm can be filled up resulting to a very smooth finish.
Ecofill Fine is a fine grade plaster of various colors which gives a very fine
and smooth surface. Minor holes deeper than 2 mm can be filled up.
Ecofiller can directly be applied onto concrete hollow blocks and on
concrete surfaces like walls. It has consistent quality, greater
durability and more importantly, it gives better value for the money.

Mixing
Ecofill must be mixed with clean water at the site by means of a powder drill whisk. Prepare
the required water in a suitable container and then add the Ecofill into the suitable container
while stirring continuously until a smooth, creamy consistency is obtained. The mixture can
be applied immediately after mixing. No stand off time is required. (For water consumption
please refer to the technical data).
Application
The whole range of Ecofill products is applied either by hand with a spatula. The coat is
leveled off to a smooth surface with a spatula.
Important

Application
Surface preparation
When repairing concrete, remove all loose and foreign material. Dampen adjoining concrete
surfaces.
Mixing
Empty the contents into a mortar box, wheel barrow or a mechanical mixer. When mixing by
hand, form a crater for adding water. (NB: 27.2 kg per bag = 2.8 liters of water) Add water a
little at a time. Avoid a soupy mix. Excess water reduces strength and durability and can cause
cracking. In cold weather use warm water to accelerate the set. Use cool water to slow the set
in hot weather.
Placement
Place and consolidate Ecokrete. Work the material into voids, then level the surface with a
straight edge board. Allow freshly placed concrete to set about 1 hour or until the surface water
has begun to disappear before finishing. Time will vary with weather conditions.
Finishing
Begin finishing when the surface is firm to the touch. Time will be shorter in hot waether and
longer in cold weather. For a rough surface use a wood float. After floating use a broom or
brush to texture the surface. For a smooth surface use a steel trowel. Use an edging tool.

Curing
In hot weather cover with a wet clean curing cloth and plastic. Keep continuously wet for a
minimum of 3 days. The application of a curing compound (Ecocure S) is a better
alternative.

Ecocure S
CURING COMPOUND
Concrete Curing Compound (Silicate)
Description
A ready to use aqueous solution of metallic silicates, incorporating penetrating aids,
designed for application to fresh concrete to inhibit evaporation of moisture, increase the
density and harden vertical or horizontal concrete surfaces. The mechanism involves a
microcrystalline seal through the formation of a dense course of crystals in the upper layer of
the concrete surface. Ecosure S is chloride free.
Uses
Curing Compound
Ecocure S may be applied to the horizontal surface of fresh concrete immediately after
bleed water has disappeared, or to vertical surfaces after stripping the boxing to provide a
moisture evaporation and assisting in complete hydration of the cement.
Surface Hardening
Ecocure S may be applied to green concrete to increase the density of the cured surface
thus improving its subsequent durability, abrasion resistance and lessening any potential
surface dusting problems. and easy striking.
Advantages
-Ecocure S can be used as a concrete curing system where subsequent
surface treatments or paints are to be applied.
-Ecocure S is clear, non staining and non toxic thus suitable for water
retaining structure.
-Ecocure S is non-flammable and can be employed in place of solvent
based products.
-Ecocure S is a concrete curing system which promotes strength,
surface hardness and durability and significantly reduce any
subsequent surface dusting problems.
Application
Vertical surfaces
After striking shutters, dampen down the concrete thoroughly with fresh water. Allow the
surface water to drain off then apply Ecocure S either with standard spray equipment or a
lamb’s wool roller (spray applications are preferred for full coverage). Observe that the
surface is fully wetted. Where a highly durable abrasion resistant surface is required, i.e., in
severe exposure conditions, apply a further coat of Ecocure after 3 days. Where subsequent
surfacing systems are to be applied, allow 7 days before overlaying Ecocure S.
Horizontal Surface
Apply Ecocure S with spray equipment or a lamb’s wool roller immediately after final trowel
when all bleed water has disappeared. Ensure full surface wetting and in any case apply not
less than the coverage specified below. Earliest practical application after the concrete
surfaces are ready to receive the curing compound is recommended so as to obtain
optimum performance from the system. As for vertical surfaces, apply a second coat to
maximize durability and abrasion resistance.

All Surfaces
If the concrete is exposed to direct sunlight with high temperatures (plus 23˚ C), or severe
drying winds, protect the surface with a polythene sheet for 2-3 hours. After applying
Ecocure S to allow time for crystal formation. The polythene should be in direct contact with
the surface to maximize the benefits.

Architects Specifications for Surface Curing Membrane
Concrete surfaces shall be protected from the rapid evaporation of mix water to ensure

Ecocure WS
CURING COMPOUND
Concrete Curing Compound (Wax)
Description
A liquid application curing compound membrane for the protection of concrete from loss
Of water during the early age curing period.
Uses
Ecocure WS is sprayed onto newly laid concrete surfaces and will not affect the normal
setting action of the concrete. A thin film barrier is formed to slow down the rate at which
water evaporates from the concrete surface during the first few crucial days of curing.
This enables more water to be available for the hydration reaction of the cement particles.
The concrete can then cure more efficiently to achieve maximum performance properties.
Advantages
The use of Ecocure WS eliminates the need for costly and impractical
curing methods such as wet hessian, polythene sheeting, continuous
watering, ponding, etc.
Ecocure WS will assist in providing the following beneficial properties
when applied to freshly placed concrete surface:
•Reduction in the incidence of shrinkage cracking
• Improved strength and durability of the concrete.
• Reduction in surface dusting.

Important Notes
•Staining of the concrete may occur if Ecocure WS is applied to a dry surface. Dampen

cracks from occurring by significantly reducing the amount of water evaporating from the

However, curing compounds will not prevent the effects of any cracking that may occur
as a result of thermal contraction, long term drying shrinkage or slab designs which
restrain lateral movement. Careful attention must always be paid to the positioning of

Two-component, pre-dosed, ready for use waterproofing slurry based on resin modified

Substrate preparation
Concrete, mortar, brickwork: sound, clean, free oil, grease, dust or laitance; as even as
possible. Steel Iron: Clean, free of oil, grease or rust. Absorbent substances have to be
thoroughly watered and must be mat wet prior to application of first coat of Eco Top Seal.
Mixing
Pour half of component A (liquid) into mixing vessel. Add all component B (power) and
mix until you have slurry of uniform consistency. Add rest of component A and mix again until
you have uniform, lump-free mixture. Mechanical slow speed mixer is recommended.
Mixing time 2-3 minutes. If Eco Top Seal is to be applied by trowel, use only 90% of
component A (liquid).
Coating
By Brush: On vertical surface use suitable brush with synthetic bristle. On horizontal
surface use rubber slide or push-broom.
By trowel: For first coat use tooth trowel with 3mm teeth, for second coat use normal trowel.
Application
Always apply a minimum of 2 coats, the first coat on the still damp (pre-wetted) substrate.
The second coat is to be applied after the first coat has already started to set and can support
the following coat, usually after 2-6 hours, depending on climate. Finish off by brushing with
dry sponge when setting of 2nd coat has started.

Curing
As with all cement based products, curing is important. Protect the freshly applied product
against direct sunlight and strong winds. Use damp hessian or PE sheet to aid curing.
Protect the applied Eco Top Seal from rain and water splashes until fully hardened.
(+6 hours).
Cleaning
Clean tools with water before adhered materials has hardened. Hardened EcoTop Seal can
only be mechanically removed.
WATERPROOFING
Limits
Minimal application temperature + 8˚C
Apply usually 2 coats.
Do not use more than 2 kg / m² per coat.
Maximum time between coating: 6 hours.
For roofing or other structures which directly contact to UV rays, it is suggested to protect
them with 2-3 cm cement screed.
For swimming pool: maximum time between waterproofing and screeding is 24 hours,
more than 24 hours recommended to use bonding coat (ST77d; cement= 1:2) before
screeding.

Ecowater Stop is ready to use, waterproofing compound which reacts with the

Application Details
Dosage
Ecowater Stop is added to the clean mixing water. The normal ratio is 1 : 10, which is
equivalent to approx. 3% of binder content. When using very wet sand, the ratio must be
increased to 1 : 8 or in extreme cases 1 : 6.
WATERPROOFING
Substrate preparation
Concrete surfaces must be roughened by either hacking, wire brushing, sandblasting,
etc. Fixtures, fittings and other protrusions must be removed. Cracks, porous areas and
spalling should be cut out and made good. Water infiltration should be stopped with
Ecowater Plug or the water table lowered. Prior to the first coat, apply a primer slurry (water,
Ecowater Stop, sand and cement).
Mixing
Mix Ecowater Stop vigorously and then dilute 1 part Ecowater Stop with 10 parts clean water in
a clean container and stir well. This is best carried out by first mixing equal volumes of
Ecowater Stop and water and then adding the remaining water.
Coating
Walls After mixing to a sloppy consistency, each coat is applied to a thickness of 6 mm
by steel trowel. The second coat is best applied when the first coat has begun to stiffen
(usually 4 – 5 hours). After the second coat has been applied and also after the third
in the case of 4 coat renders, apply a “splatter” coat of the same mortar but mixed
with plain water. This will provide a key for the final coat. Intermediate coats should not be
scratched to form a key. The final coat should be finished with a wooden float to avoid
unnecessary laitance.

Dry mix by volume, equal parts of cement : sand and pass through a 3mm sieve. Add Ecowater stop mixture.
* 2nd Coat (1:1.5)
Dry mix at the ratio of 1:1.5 cement : sand and pass through a 3mm sieve. Add Ecowater stop mixture.
* 3rd Coat (1:2.5)
Dry mix at the ratio of 1:2.5 cement : sand. Add Ecowater stop.
* 4th Coat (1:1) (after second or third coat)
Dry mix by volume, equal parts of cement : sand without Ecowater stop mixture. Mortar finish with wood float.
Floors Normally carried out in 2 coats with the addition of a primer (water, ecowater
stop, sand or cement) brushed well into the surface and followed by:

Ecowater Plug

Description

Application Instructions
Substrate
The surface where Ecowater Plug cement paste is to be clean

Mixing
Water must be clean and the minimum temperature of mixing
water is 5ºC. Add cement to Ecowater Plug and then mix quickly
and thoroughly until a paste is formed. Prepare the cement paste
in small quantities and use immediately.

Sealing of Moderate Infiltrations
Mix neat Portland cement with Ecowater Plug diluted in water
1 : 1 – 1 : 4 (Ecowater Plug : water). Apply firmly with a trowel
over the whole surface which is subject to water infiltration.
WATERPROOFING
Sealing of Severe Infiltrations and Where High Water Pressure is
Involved Initially identify areas with low infiltration and seal with
Ecowater Plug cement paste (Ecowater Plug pure or diluted
up to 1 : 3).
Then insert short lengths of plastic tubes into areas of high
infiltration and where high water pressure is involved and fix them
with Ecowater Plug cement paste. Seal the surrounding areas with
Ecowater Plug cement paste. These discharge tubes prevent the
surrounding mortar from being subject to water pressure until
properly set.
Notes on Application /Limitations

Ecowater Plug is to be used with fresh Portland cement only.
Do not use Ecowater Plug cement paste if the initial setting
has started

Instruction for Use
Base Concrete
The base concrete shall be Grade 25 or higher with an onsite slump of between 75 mm and
100 mm.
The base concrete shall be laid and compacted in accordance with good concrete practice with
particular attention to bay edges and corners. Care should be taken to ensure that the slab is
laid to obtain an accurate finish profile and that laitance build-up is minimum.

Application
Ecofloor Hard shall be broadcasted over the still fresh but stiff concrete and should be marked into bays to
ensure even distribution of materials.
As bay edges are subjected to heavier impact and wear, additional treatment should be considered for
these areas. Once the base concrete slab is leveled, sprinkle Ecofloor Hard along the edges and compact
into the surface using a steel trowel. Use approximately 0.5 to 0.6 kg per linear meter over a width to 100 to
120 mm. Saw – cut control joints should also be treated in the same manner.
Timing for application is very crucial and the “readiness” of the concrete must be determined. A common
rule-of-thumb practice is when light foot traffic leaves a 3-5 mm imprint. When Ecofloor Hard is applied too
early, water from the concrete will be absorbed and this may affect the strength of the base concrete. On
the other hand, if application is done too late, there will be insufficient moisture from the concrete to
complete the hydration process of Ecofloor Hard. As a result, the floor may “craze and pit”.
FLOORING
Ecofloor Hard is applied in two stages. Use 60% of the specified dosage in the first application and
broadcast evenly over the marked area. Once the materials is uniformly moistened, compact, the floor with
a low speed mechanical trowel. When it is completed, the remaining 40% of the materials is immediately
broadcasted over the floor at a direction perpendicular to the first application. The floor is compacted again
using a mechanical trowel when the Ecofloor Hard is uniformly moistened. Precaution must be taken to
ensure that the floor is not overworked.
Curing
The Ecofloor hard surface must be protected to prevent rapid water loss which may result in surface
cracks. Immediately after leveling, spray Ecocure WS Curing Compound over the floor at a rate of 0.2 liters
per m2.
Waiting Time
Depending on the ambient temperature and the type of cement used in the base concrete, the pre-usage
waiting time is

Ecofloor DPH
Concrete Floor Dust-Proofer and Hardener
Description
FLOORING
Ecofloor DPH is a ready-to-use surface hardener and dust-proofer, based on sodium silicate
which reacts chemically to produce a hard, dust-free finish.
Uses
Ecofloor DPH can be used on both new and old concrete floors.
It is not suitable for natural stone.

Application
Surface Preparation
All substances must be sound, dry and free from any oil grease, dust and loosely adhering
materials. Concrete should be at least 21 days old before applying.
Application Proper
Ecofloor DPH is ready to use from the drum and can either be sprinkled over the surface with
the aid of a plastic watering can, or applied over the substrate with a soft broom or squeegee.
Spread Ecofloor DPH liquid back and forth over the surface to ensure maximum and even
penetration. Do not allow puddies to form on flat surfaces. Normally two coats are sufficient,
but in some cases a third coat is beneficial. Allow a period of 24 hours between coats. A delay
after the final treatment, the floor should be washed with clean water.
Covering Capacity
Depending on the surface texture and porosity of the substrate, approx: 0.15 – 0.25 kg/m² and
Coat.
Important Recommendations
Ecofloor DPH cannot however, be expected to make bad disintegrating concrete good.
Handling Precautions
Ecofloor DPH is based on Sodium Silicate. Wear protective clothing, gloves, goggles boots,
etc. Avoid contact. In the event of contamination, wash thoroughly with water. If the eyes are
affected, wash with clean water and obtain medical attention.

Ecofloor Mortar
Cementitious Self-leveling sub-floor screed
Description
FLOORING
Ecofloor is a one component, versatile and durable, sub-floor cementitious screed which can
be applied manually or by pump to achieve rapid, flat and economic substrate prior to the
application of the floor finish.
Uses
Ecofloor mortar is a sub-floor cementitious screed for use as an underlayment
for other floor finishes such as carpet, vinyl, ceramic tiles & epoxy coating

Application
Surface preparation
The surface must be clean and free from all traces of loose material, old coatings, curing
membranes, release agents, laitance, oil and grease, etc. Surfaces may be damp but free from
standing water.
Substrate compression strength should be at least 20 Mpa.
Structurally unsound layers and surface containments must be mechanically removed. Captive
shot blasting followed by vacuuming to remove dust is the preferred method for large areas.
Priming
Priming with Ecolatex is essential to ensure good adhesion and reduce air release from the
substrate. Apply Ecolatex by brush ensuring complete wetting out of the substrate. The primed
substrate should be tacky condition at the time of applying Ecofloor Mortar.
Mixing
Ecofloor mortar should be mixed using drill and suitable paddle or a continuous mixer/pump.
To each 25kg bag of Ecofloor mortar, add 4.2 liters of clean water and mix until a
homogenous, self-leveling consistency is achieved.
Always add the powder to the water while mixing slowly to avoid the formation of lumps.

Curing
Ecofloor mortar is self-curing, but as with all cementitious products in hot weather, take
adequate measures to protect it from exposure to direct sunlight and hot winds. The
application of curing membrane or water is not necessary.
Cleaning
Clean all tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened mortar can only
be mechanically removed.
Application Proper
Apply the Ecofloor mortar to the substrate using a trowel squeegee, spreading rake or
screed bar to give the required finish thickness. The product can also be applied by pump.
Thoroughly spike roller in two directions to remove trowel marks and any entrapped air.
Maximum thickness applied in one application is 25 mm. If 2 or more layers are required,
bonding agent must be applied between layers.

Preparation of Substrate
Concrete surface must be clean, sound, level and uncontaminated by oil or
grease. Remove cement laitance, formwork traces and loosely adhering
particles by sand blasting or high pressure water jetting. Absorbent substrates
must be pre-wetted to saturate surface dry (SSD) conditions.
Application Proper
1. Use 4 part of Ecofix to 1 part of water (by weight)
2. Mix well with a hand trowel. For large volume mixing, a slow speed drill is
recommended.
3. Apply Ecofix Natural with “V” notched trowel for small tiles(¼ in. thickness)
while Ecofix Heavy Duty with Square notched trowel for bigger tiles (½ in.

Description
TILE GROUT
EcoTile Grout is a cementitious tile grout specially blended from selected high quality
performance cements, filler, pigments and synthetic additives.
Uses
EcoTile Grout is for filling installed ceramic tile joints in kitchenss,
bathrooms, swimming pools, all other similar applications.
Advantages

Application
1. Prepare ¾ liters of water in a plastic pail. Add 2 kg of EcoTile Grout gradually while
mixing until a creamy paste is produced and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
2. After the tiles have set overnight, dampen joints of tiles without standing water.
3. Apply the paste to spaces in between tiles diagonally using sponge or a piece of cloth.
Work the grout paste with enough pressure into the joints and around the edges to fill
gap uniformly.
4. When the residue on the tiles begin to form a haze after 5 minutes, wipe a wet sponge
using the same strokes to the grout applied joints until the grout is flushed with the tile
surface.
5. Wash the sponge and wring out as much water as possible, then tool the filled joints by
lightly running the sponge along the tile grout lines or running the tip of a rounded piece
of wood along the grout filled tile joint to level off with the tiles.
6. To reveal the surface, wipe any remaining dry residue with a clean soft and dry cloth.
7. Place protective barriers, or covering and signage to protect newly grouted areas. Open
to foot traffic after 24 hours.

How to Use
Surface Preparation
EPOXY BONDING
Surface must be clean, sound and dry. Remove all traces of loose particles, laitance, oil, grease, bond
inhibiting impregnations, curing compounds and all other contaminants.
Concrete surface must be cleaned mechanically by shot blasting, sand blasting or by grinding.
New concrete must be poured over the old concrete while Ecopoxy BOND is still wet.
Mixing
Mix 3 parts by WEIGHT of Ecopoxy BOND Component A to 1 part by weight of Component B for three
minutes. Mix only enough material that can be applied within 30 minutes.
Application rate: 0.35 – 0.8 kg per square meter depending on substrate condition.
Cleaning
All tools and equipment must be cleaned with lacquer thinner before the epoxy hardens.
Limitations
Substrate moisture content must be 4-10%
Minimum/maximum substrate temperature must be 15/35 degrees centigrade
Caution
Avoid contact with skin and eyes by using rubber hand gloves and eye goggles. In case of skin contact,
immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flood eyes with plenty of clean water and
seek medical assistance. Use only in well ventilated areas. Contact with skin and eyes may cause severe
skin/eyes and respiratory irritation. Prolonged contact may result in allergic reaction, sensitization.

Ecopoxy 305K
EPOXY ADHESIVE
Long Pot Life – Low Viscosity Epoxy Injection System
Product Description
100% solids, low viscosity, moisture insensitive epoxy system used to restore cracked
structural concrete by pressure injection method. Crack width limitation: 5.0 mm.
Ecopoxy 305K can be used to repair large concrete slab cracks by adding in dry, graded
silica sand at 12 kg sand per 1 set of Ecopoxy 305K.

How to Use
Surface Preparation
Clean the crack and the surrounding area with a steel brush. When necessary, use a high pressure washer
to clean the crack followed with high pressure compressed air. The compressive strength of the concrete
substrate must be a minimum of 24 Mpa (3600 psi) at 28 days.
Injection Port Installation
Install injection ports 150~300 mm (6~12 inches) apart depending on slab thickness and crack width.
EPOXY ADHESIVE
Mixing
Mix 2 parts by volume of Ecopoxy 305K Part A to 1 part by volume of Part B for 3 minutes. Mix only
enough material that can be injected withing 5 minutes when using a grease gun as injector.
Cleaning
All tools and equipment must be cleaned with lacquer thinner before the epoxy hardens.
Handling
Avoid contact with skin and eyes by using rubber hand gloves and eye goggles. In case of skin contact,
immediately wash with soap and water. In case of eye contact, flood eyes with plenty of clean water and
seek medical assistance.
Pot Life

Caution
Use only in well ventilated areas. Contact with skin and eyes may cause severe skin/eyes and respiratory irritation.
Prolonged contact may result in allergic reaction, sensitization. When contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with
plenty of soap and water. When contact with eyes occurs, flood eyes with plenty of clean water. Consult a doctor
immediately. Wear protective clothing, rubber hand gloves and eye goggles.

Ecoflex Seal
Multi-Purpose Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant
Description
SEALANT
Ecoflex Seal is a one-component, moisture-curable, polyurethane-based, elastomeric
adhesive sealant. It is a fast curing, non-sag system. After curing, it provides a permanently
elastic bond to fasten materials with different coefficients of expansion.

Front and rear spoilers, auto trim, moldings, body seams and welded joints.
Waterproofing exterior lap seams in many applications, including truck

Waterproofing rivet seams.
Sealing of exposed and concealed joints of aluminum, steel, coated metals,
wood, roof rails and door hinges in transport equipment.
Sealing and caulking expansion joints, pre-cast concrete panel joints and
joints between logs on log homes.

Application
1. Cleaning. Clean surface with a strong jet of compressed air, sandblast, or
solvent to ensure the surface being clean, dry, free of grease, and of sound
quality.
2. Activating/Priming. Activators and/or primers may be required to achieve
optimal adhesion depending on the nature of substrates.
3. Application Proper. Cut tip to desired shape and size. Puncture airtight seal.
Install with hand or power operated gun and extrude the sealant into the joint.
Clean excess sealant using hard rubber plate or finger wet with soap solution.
