Betty passed away 2 years ago on November 17, 2012. Long after Betty retired from sled dog racing, she continued to support the club. She served as Treasurer for many years and took entries for the MASDRA races that JSSDRA sponsored. It was always great to go out on Trail Help with her because you got to ride in her truck and stay warm! You got to hear some good sled dog racing stories too!
