Wednesday, August 6, 2014
Chairman Pete Flesch called the meeting to order at 11:08 a.m. Members Wade Dull and David Olson
were present. Excused absence: Elling Jones, Derek Flansburgh. Amanda Nagel, Dale McCullick,
Roger Martin, Butch Olson and Andrew Smiley were also present.
1. Daily Entertainment Review: Taste of Crawford County schedule
2. Committee Reports:
a. Sheriff Department Update – everything is a go
b. Carnival Update – OK, 2 years contract for carnival discussed, will talk with personnel
c. Vendor Update – OK
d. Gate Volunteer Update – Need help on Thursday, maybe Friday
e. Grandstand Update – Guy Nelson wanted fence in front of grandstand. Not a good idea. No
beer sales in pits
f. Work Projects – Maintenance Department – Everything on schedule
g. Any other concerns 3. Correspondence: None
4. Dull moved, Flesch seconded to adjourn. Motion carried with no negative votes cast; the meeting
adjourned at11:25 a.m.

Thursday, August 7, 2014
Chairman Pete Flesch called the meeting to order at 11:05 a.m. Members David Olson and Elling
Jones were present. Excused absence: Wade Dull, Derek Flansburgh. Amanda Nagel, Ray Martin and
Andrew Smiley were also present.
1. Daily Entertainment Review: Person present
2. Committee Reports:
a. Sheriff Department Update – OK
b. Carnival Update – OK
c. Vendor Update – OK
d. Gate Volunteer Update – Some openings to be filled
e. Grandstand Update – Truck/tractor pull on schedule
3. Work Projects – Maintenance Department – No problems. Items discussed to be taken care of –
parking discussed, bleachers on site
4. Any other concerns – Five people did not take training. Should watch video. Need milk house
superintendent.
5. Correspondence – None
6. Jones moved, Olson seconded to adjourn. The motion carried with no negative votes cast; the
meeting adjourned at 11:20 a.m.

Chairman Pete Flesch called the meeting to order at 10:06 a.m. Members David Olson, Elling Jones
and Wade Dull were present. Excused absence: Derek Flansburgh. Amanda Nagel, Vance Haugen,
Andrew Smiley, Dale McCullick and Roger Martin were also present.
1. Daily Entertainment Review: People arriving at noon
2. Committee Reports:
a. Sheriff Department Update – No problems
b. Carnival Update – Everyone good
c. Vendor Update – OK
d. Gate Volunteer Update – Spots were filled for Friday
e. Grandstand Update – No problems
3. Work Projects – Maintenance Department – Beer issues addressed. Parking issues addressed.
4. Any other concerns – None presented
5. Correspondence: Survey sheets distributed

Saturday, August 9, 2014
Chairman Pete Flesch called the meeting to order at 10:06 AM. Members David Olson, Elling Jones
and Wade Dull were present. Excused absence: Derek Flansburgh. Amanda Nagel, Andrew Smiley,
Roger Martin and Vance Haugen were also present.
1. Daily Entertainment Review: Tractor pullers reimbursed after show. Events going on as scheduled.
Demo derby drivers reimbursed after show.
2. Committee Reports:
a. Sheriff Department Update – No problems. Quiet night
b. Carnival Update – One complaint
c. Vendor Update – ballast problem, Andrew shared the matter
d. Gate Volunteer Update – All positions filled
e. Grandstand Update – Good show on Friday night. Try to get them back next year.
3. Work Projects – Maintenance Department – Parking will be addressed, need 4 volunteers
4. Any other concerns – Need to close window on animals admitted. Need to get cattle exhibitor’s
papers in a proper time.
5. Correspondence – None

2. Committee Reports:
a. Sheriff Department Update – Move car
b. Carnival Update – Wristband issues
c. Vendor Update – None
d. Gate Volunteer Update – Need more volunteers
e. Grandstand Update – None
3. Work Projects – Maintenance Department – Rodeo is ready for activity
4. Any other concerns – None presented
5. Correspondence – None
