Product note Process performance IE3 cast iron motors, frame sizes 71 – 132, according to EU MEPS A complete range of IE3 premium efficiency motors Within the last six months, ABB’s premium efficiency range of the M3BP Process performance motors has been complemented in three stages with new cast iron motors. This product note presents all the previously published and new motors in sizes 71-132 that are now available to order. This product range is a continuation to our line of motors providing high environmental performance. The motors are designed for the EU market and fully comply with local efficiency requirements. The range includes motors that are not in the scope of EU MEPS but are covered by the latest IEC standard on efficiency classes, IEC 60034-30-1, Ed. 1.0. These motors are marked in the list with an asterisk. Motors for the US market have also been released, and motors for Canada will be released later. A large selection of optional features is available. Motor sizes 71 to 132 are rated from 0.18 to 7.5 kilowatts and include 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-pole versions.
