: 13 SAs were promoted as AM-II w.e.f.20.03.2014.

Transfer
: 08 S.As were relieved on promotion/transfer to office of DGM New
Delhi (6) and DDGM(UI) New Delhi (2)
02 AO Gr.-II were transferred to DGM New Delhi. (Sh. Raj Pal, MC
Dehradun + Sh. N.K. Shukla, MC Chandigarh).
Sh. Ramesh Chand was relieved from MC Shimla on transfer to O/o
DGM New Delhi.
: 01 Newly recruited SA (Shri Avinash Sharma, TMO Bhadarwah)
resigned from service w.e.f. 20.03.2014
: 01 Sc. Asstt. (Sh. Jeet Singh, PBO Sunder Nagar retired on 31.03.14 on
Superannuation.
: 01 L.A. Gr. II (Sh. Inder jeet Pandey, MC Lucknow) retired on
31.03.14 on Superannuation.

3.. REVENUE COLLECTION राजव ाती
A sum of Rs.86147/- (Rupees Eight six thousand one hundred forty seven only) was collected on
account of supply of Meteorological Data during the month of March, 2014.
4. INTER DEPARTMENTAL CO-OPERTION AND OTHER MEETINGS.
1. Shri A.K. Sharma, Scientist “E” & Head, M..C. Dehradun had a meeting with, Hon.
Governor of Uttarakhand on 02.03.2014(Saturday). The function was organized with
Eco task force, Dehradun.
2. Shri A.K. Sharma, Scientist “E” & Head, M. C. Dehra Dun was invited as Technical
expert of the interview committee for the interview of JRF at Indian Institute of Remote
Sensing, ISRO, Dehradun on 04.03.2014.
3. Dr. R.K. jenamani, Sc. E attended 6th WMO International Verification Methods
Workshop during March 17 to 19, 2014 organized at MoES by NCMRWF-IMD and
presented a paper on “Verification of aviation Met forecast of MWO Delhi”.
4. Dr. R.K. Jenamani, Sc.-E attended meeting called by DGCA on 23 March for finalizing
the LVP Operational procedures of Delhi airport of which he has been as expert
committee member and the panel report chapter-2 on “FOG MONIOTORING AND
FORECASTING FOR IGI AIRPORT AND ITS ALTERNATES” have been thoroughly
reviewed.
5. MWO Palam organized a two days training on 24th & 25th March, 2014 in “Maintenance
of IAAMS imparted by M/s SGS Weather Environmental systems, Delhi”. 13 officials
from outstations and 06 officials from MWO Palm attended the training.

6. AVIATION
1. 16 ROFORs and 09 Aerodrome warnings were issued during the month by Met.
Office Safdarjung.
2. VVIP flights during the month of March,2014- 03 (Three)

7. NON-AVIATION
1. .All significant weather events that affected Delhi and NW Delhi in association with
western disturbance/ other systems during March 2014 were forecasted in advance with
high accuracy of timing and intensity.
2. Weather forecast of Delhi and required stations was supplied to PM House (through
NWFC) on 02 occasions for VVIP movement.
3. Fortnightly Met data of north-west India was supplied to Director, Plant Protection
Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad for preparation of Locust Bulletin.
4. A brief note of weather over Delhi during month of March, 2014 was posted on IMD
Website.
