(June 16, 2014) – The Florida Dental Association (FDA) is proud to announce Dr. Richard Stevenson of Jacksonville was named 2014-2015 President of the Florida Dental Association at the 2014 Florida National Dental Convention in Orlando. Dr. Stevenson brings a wealth of experience in serving organized dentistry across all spectrums. He is president-elect of the Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration, past president of the Northeast District Dental Association, a consultant to the FDA Government Action Committee, liaison to the Leadership Development Committee and Council on Dental Health and is a current delegate to the American Dental Association. Dr. Stevenson is also a representative to the Oral Health Florida Coalition and the Oral Health Improvement Plan for Disadvantaged Persons and is a member of the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
