There are many special considerations that
affect the way your massage therapist approaches the session. Information including a brief health history, current prescriptions, allergies, sensitivities, etc., are crucial
to the professional care you will receive.
Massages at Bryant Irvin Recreation Complex are very conservative. You will only be
asked to remove clothing for the areas
which will be targeted. We also adhere to
the strictest level of confidentiality for any
issues revealed in order to provide a session

Donna Dubois , Jessica Daring and
Jennifer Reynolds are Texas Licensed
Massage Therapists.
Within each session you can ask your
therapist to focus on trouble areas or the
entire body. Licensed therapists are
trained in Swedish Massage, which is a
very broad practice of therapeutic techniques. Within the Swedish Massage
practice there are many variations of
rhythm, contact, and pressure making
each session highly individualized. Your
therapist is familiar with the techniques
of foot, scalp, full body massage, that are
both therapeutic and relaxing. Your
therapist is prepared to deliver a massage
session based on the information you
provide them about your needs.

Getting the Most from Your
Massage
1. Do not eat just before the session.
2. Be on time. If you arrive in a frenzied, rushed state, it will take you
longer to achieve a relaxed state.
3. Be comfortable by removing only the
clothing items you feel are appropriate.
4. Give the massage therapist accurate
health information.
5. Before the session, let your massage
therapist know what your needs are
and express discomfort if any arises
during the session.
6. Don’t be afraid to discuss any apprehensions or concerns. It is important that you be as comfortable as
possible during your massage. Your
massage therapist is a professional
dedicated to doing her best to help
you feel as ease.
7. Breathe deeply during your massage.
8. If you are dizzy or light headed after
the massage, inform your therapist.
9. Drink extra water after a massage.
10.
Allow for some quiet time after your
massage if possible.
