Neuropsychology/Rehabilitation Psychology
Responsibilities: Work as an integral member of neuropsychology service, providing
consults to patients in the Brain & Spinal Cord Injury program and any patients admitted
to the hospital with a Glasgow Coma Scale of 12 or less. Conduct neuropsychological
assessments at bedside to patients when they initially arrive to ICU and monitor cognitive
and emotional status throughout their stay. Conduct neuropsychological assessments to
patients admitted into inpatient rehabilitation and provide ongoing cognitive screens and
therapy as needed. Provide bedside therapy to help patients and their families in
adjusting with the psychological stress and emotional trauma associated with serious disease

diagnoses. Conduct brief neuropsychological screeners and intake assessments for
pediatrics admitted to inpatient rehabilitation. Provide supportive therapy and
psychoeducation to patients and their families to assist in adjustment with the psychological
stress and trauma associated with serious disease or injury. Serve as a member of the

Testing and Research Experience
8/08-12/08 Nova Multilingual Neuropsychological Battery
Recruited subjects, administered, scored and interpreted a test developed by Nova doctoral
students, which included 39 subtests, each of which evaluated a different aspect of an
individual’s neuropsychological functioning. At the moment, research is being conducted to
compare the performance of English only subjects.
