GAZA NGO SAFETY OFFICE GANSO -ABOUT GANSOGANSO is a project of CARE International, funded by ECHO and SDC with the aim of providing the information and analysis the NGO community needs in order to implement humanitarian projects safely. 19 MAY 2014 ADVISORY UPDATE: Erez Crossing Procedures According to information received 19 MAY 2014, Erez crossing will have slight changes in procedure for East Jerusalem ID holders due to technical problems. Until the problem is solved, applicants should bring two copies of their passport picture in addition to their Jerusalem ID and Passport/travel documents each time they cross. Effective from 19 MAY 2014; requests for permits need to be sent 15 working days in advance to CLA office in order to be able to process on time. This is due to the increase in the number of requests (humanitarian and international) received. A reminder of CLA working days and hours: Sunday: 13:00-17:30 Monday – Wednesday: 08:30 – 12:00, 13:00-17:30 Thursday: 08:30-12:00, 13:00 – 15:30 Friday – Saturday: Office is closed NOTE: GANSO Reports and other products are for the exclusive use of the NGO community and are not for resale.
