L’UPCYCLING : DÉTOURNER, RECYCLER, RÉINTERPRÉTER.
Les échafaudages ont été de tout temps un outil d’aide à l’élévation des plus humbles aux plus
grandes constructions architecturales. DELATOUR DESIGN PARIS a choisi de donner ses lettres
de noblesse à ces “outils” indispensables, en développant une collection de mobilier design :
La Collection ART TUBES, fabriquée en France est éditée par la société Française Royal River.
Exposé pour la première fois au salon Maison&Objet, pièce de design / œuvre d’art, réalisé à partir
d’éléments d’échafaudages récup, tubes et tuyaux, le FAUTEUIL ART TUBES est à la fois un détournement, une optimisation des matériaux d’origine (upcycling), et un clin d’œil aux designs du XXème siècle de
Perriand et de Le Corbusier.
Une table basse , 2 consoles et un tabouret ART TUBES ont également été réalisés dans le cadre d’une
collection personnalisée en hommage à Piet Mondrian.
Fauteuil et autres pièces de mobilier de la collection ART TUBES sont disponibles en couleur brut (tuyaux
rouges, pas de peinture) ou pièce unique personnalisable à la demande ou métalisée, pour une utilisation
indoor / outdoor, privée ou lieux publics (peut être fixé au sol).

UPCYCLING : RECYCLING, HIJACKING, REINTERPRETATION
Since the beginning of architecture, scaffolds have been a tool to help rise from the most humble to
the greatest constructions. DELATOUR DESIGN PARIS has chosen to give its nobility letters to these
essential “tools”, by developing a collection of design furniture :
The ART TUBES Collection, Made in France, edited by the french company Royal River.
Exhibited for the first time at the M&O fair, The ART TUBES ARMCHAIR, is a piece of design as much as a
piece of art. Manufactured with recycled scaffolds elements, this armchair is a great example of upcycling
and materials hijacking, as well as a reference to the great designs of the 20th century made by Perriand and
Le Corbusier.
A coffee table, 2 console tables and an ART TUBES stool have as well been developped for a custom-made
Piet Mondrian tribute collection.
The armchair and other furnitures of the ART TUBES collection are also available in raw version (red pipes,
no paint), or fully customized with special designs painted or metalized. Armchair is for indoor/outdoor use,
private or plublic places (can be fixed to the ground).
