ADMISSION PROCESS

etc. please don’t use regular mail)
Most recent School Transcript with a
minimum average of 80 (Mexican
system) or GAP of 2.5 (USA system).
Cases of average between 70.79 (GPA
2.0-2.5) will be considered at length.
Authorization letter from the study
abroad coordinator, naming the student
as an exchange student (directed to
Edith Cantú).
HEALTH
INSURANCE
Upon your arrival,
you most have a
health insurance. You
can have one from
your contry but it
most have international coverage. If
not during the Orientation Week you will
be able to buy one.
VISA
All students depending on their nationality and the time they
are planning to stay
in Mexico will need
an specific VISA. In

LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION
ITESM offers regular university courses taught in
English and Spanish for international students.

18 CREDITS (6 COURSES) for Fall/Spring semester
6 CREDITS (2 COURSES) for Summer
GRADUATE
12 CREDITS (4 COURSES) for Fall/Spring semester

If the student is not a native English student and want
to take english courses (TOEFL 550 OR IELTS 6.5).
For courses taught in Spanish once they have being
accepted will have to take a placement test.
We recommend you not to exceed 13-15 credits,
whereas foreign students need time for other activities that will enrich their international experience.

EXAMS
The Academic Administration Department provides that
there will be at least three partial and one final student
progress evaluation. Each teacher will determine which
other evaluations are required in their course and the
dates when they will take place. Progress evaluations are
done in differentfashions:
