Oapl with its long heritage in both circular knit and custom compression garments
is proud to act as the exclusive distributor of the Ofa Bamberg range. Ofa Bamberg
stands for the most modern technology in combination with more than 80 years of
experience in medical compression. They are also proud of the fact that today their
product is still exclusively designed and manufactured in Germany.
The quality of our compression products is the first priority. We see a high level of quality
assurance as our foremost duty and guarantee to provide, in accordance with the listed
certifications, safe and medically correct care.
HOSY tests the stocking’s medical pressure distribution
Since 1991 we have owned one of only eleven testing
units for compression stockings existing worldwide
– the HOSY (Hohenstein system). Guaranteeing
a constant quality standard of our compression
products has always been of prime importance
to us and that’s why we were the first German
manufacturer to operate this system. The latter tests
the compression performance of stockings of any
type or size with great accuracy and along the whole
leg and is used in product development as well as
quality control.
The RAL-QUALITY SEAL guarantees medical efficacy
Our medical compression stockings comply with the
internationally strictest quality and testing regulations, RALGZ 387/1 (medical compression stockings) and RAL-GZ 387/2
(medical compression arm sleeves).
To retain the quality seal on a permanent basis we undergo
regular external tests regarding product quality and medical
requirements.
Öko-Tex Standard 100 guarantees skin friendly ingredients
Öko-Tex Standard 100 guarantees ingredients that contain
no materials and dyes that are harmful to one’s health.
In 1995 Max medical stockings were the first medical
compression stockings to be certified in accordance with
Öko-Tex Standard 100. Today all our medical compression
stockings carry this seal of approval.
DIN EN ISO 9001 / DIN EN ISO 13485 guarantees optimal work processes
Already since 1995 – and thus the first in our sector to do
so – we have used the quality systems DIN EN ISO 9001 /
DIN EN ISO 13485 (previously 46001). These certificates
prove that all processes in our factory from receipt of order
DIN EN ISO
through production and then despatch are being constantly
monitored and optimised. We aim to establish long-term
customer relations based on trust and satisfaction.

THIS IS HOW MEMORY
ALOE VERA WORKS
Memory Aloe Vera contains a combination of organically
grown Aloe Vera extracts and vitamin E directly integrated
into the yarn by means of an elaborate process. This
ensures the skin is continuously supplied with moisture.
Irritation subsides and it combats dehydration of the skin.
The combination of agents is present in so-called
microcapsules. They are worked into the yarn during the
manufacturing process.
WORKING PRINCIPLE OF
THE ALOE VERA FIBRES
The yarn releases the skin care agents on skin contact
through the innumerable apertures.

The stockings can be washed without difficulty at a
temperature of 40°C. The skin care effect is maintained
even after more than 100 washings.

Elegant Jacquard look for fashion-conscious women
with sensitive skin. The transparent, flat dimples

knitting machines. To achieve the best results and therapeutic success
with your patients, we set great store by the most modern machine
technology and intricate workmanship – of course “made in Germany”.
The result is a high quality knitted fabric, combining a soft texture with
a high level of pressure. On account of this specialized technology we
are in a position to respond flexibly to any of our customers’ wishes and
ensure optimal care even in the case of difficult anatomical requirements.

The fingers and toes are, for example, very delicate and sensitive and
consequently the seams demand our special attention. The glove and
individual fingers are knitted on machines and then in each case closed
with a single seam. To do without additional seams, attaching the fingers
to the glove is done manually. The individual stitches are connected with
needle and thread. This results in finely worked care products without
additional seams – a great plus factor for excellent wearing comfort.
