OPC Factory Server V3.50 Service Pack 3 incorporates the following new features &
improvements :



OPC UA Wrapper does not fetch anymore properties of all browsed OPC items but
only properties of target OPC items.
OPC UA Wrapper browse service was consumming long time on certain complex
items.
During long operations, OPC UA Wrapper was disconnecting abusively from OFS
server.
OFS user manual (PDF+chm) and OPC Factory Server- Tuning the Communication
Parameters (PDF+chm) are updated.

This hotfix has been introduced with improvements for the alarm synchronization in
redundant server.
This hotfix resolves runtime alarm state on the standby server is not in synchronization with
primary alarm server after the standby server is restarted in Struxureware SCADA Expert
Vijeo Citect 7.40
When the standby runtime is started there is no alarm state sync from the scada db to
runtime, therefore until a new alarm event updates the state of an alarm, the alarm state in
runtime will be inconsistent with the scada database and thus alarm state will be out of sync.

With the help of the following DOS cmd we cah have elert messgae
net user %username% /domain | findstr /C:"Password expire"
You can call this command in Vijeo Citect with help of a batch file using function
Exec("C:\WINDOWS\system32\Run.bat")
Where Run.bat is a batch file with following codes:
@ECHO OFF
net user %USERNAME% /domain | findstr /C:"Password expires"
pause
Put this Run.bat file in C:\WINDOWS\system32.
You can call this function with a button or with help of events.

How can I make VJC as a OPC Client to get data from an OPC Server.
Answer :
For communicating VJC with an OPC Server, you have to select OPC in the IO Device
configuration. When you run IO Express Wizard, you have to select OPC Foundation as
shown in below snap then it will import tags from the selected OPC Server automatically.
