MHSAA Events
Deer Valley Golf Course, 101 Stoudt Rd., Hummelstown
Questions or special considerations related to Golf or the

Homecoming Golf Tournament
(Limited to 144 golfers; open to alumni, associate
members, honorary alumni, their family and friends) Proper
dress required: shirts with collars and no jeans.
Traditional golf prizes to be awarded. Shotgun start at
8 a.m. Tee and green sponsorship available; contact
MHSAA. Donate old clubs, etc., to MHS First Tee
program. $65 per golfer – includes continental breakfast,
golf, cart, Pig Roast and prizes. Golf must be prepaid
by Sept. 5. If not prepaid, the cost will be $75 at the
door, and must be paid by check or cash. Please
use the Homecoming Registration form to register
for golf.
12:30 p.m.
MHSAA Pig Roast
Open to alumni, family, friends, former and current MHS
employees. $25 per person if paid by Sept. 5/$30 per
person at the door, includes food, but no alcoholic
beverages. R.S.V.P. requested.

Founders Hall Rotunda
Sign in and pick up tickets for Homecoming events. Vote for
MHSAA directors. Ballot included with this brochure. Only duespaying members may vote. Please note that members of the
Classes of 2009-2014 may vote and register for Homecoming
Banquet tickets, but are not required to pay dues.

“Around the World with Milton and Kitty”
Exhibit Clyde Stacks Visual Arts Center Gallery
This special show will feature the many personal
and business travels of Milton and Kitty Hershey.
Among their travels, the Hershey’s explored some
of the finest mountains, beaches, and hot springs
the world had to offer. In doing so, they collected
unique and fascinating postcards and treasures to capture
their experiences, many of which will be on exhibit.

Open House: Memorial Hall, Catherine Hall,
Senior Hall
Guided tours offered at Memorial Hall, Catherine Hall, and
Senior Hall. Alumni must present a valid driver’s license
or passport at the main office of each school building in
order to obtain a visitor’s pass.

Open House: Dearden House & Kinderhaus
Tour the Purcell Friendship Hall Interactive Learning Center that
honors the School’s rich agricultural heritage. The Dearden
House will also be open for tours.
Take the opportunity to visit the MHS Heritage Center at
Kinderhaus and view exhibits featuring HIS and MHS class
rings, architectural fragment garden, and a variety of others that
tell the story of the School and our founders.

The MHS Spartans vs. the Hershey High School Trojans in the
annual Cocoa Bean Game. Come out and show your Spartan pride!

Dearden Alumni Campus Block Party
Dearden Alumni Campus, 109 McCorkel Rd.
Following the Cocoa Bean Game, alumni and their guests are
invited to attend one of MHS’s newest Homecoming events –
The Dearden Alumni Campus Block Party! This family friendly
event will include music, carnival games, ZooAmerica wildlife
display, moon bounces, and other fun activities for young
and old alike. This alcohol-free event is open to all ages.
Due to limited parking at the Dearden Alumni
Campus, a shuttle bus will be available from
the Henry Hershey Field parking lot to the
Block Party following the game.
The event, including the rides and games,
is free. Food items and beverages will
be available for sale at a reduced
rate. All alumni who pre-register
can request up to four free food
tickets; each ticket is good for a
sandwich, french fries, a drink, and
a dessert. You may pre-register using
the Homecoming Registration form.

All Block Party tickets will be available for pick-up beginning at 4
p.m. at the Dearden Alumni Campus on Sept. 13.

MHS Annual Homecoming Banquet
Hershey Lodge
Reunion classes will have reserved tables at the banquet and
reunion rooms following the banquet. Cash bar available near
reunion gathering rooms.
Winners of the MHSAA Raffle will be drawn and announced at
the banquet.
Adults only. Attire for the banquet is Sunday best.
Tickets required: Members of MHSAA and widows of alumni
are eligible to request up to 2 complimentary Banquet tickets.
Alumni may pay membership dues with their Homecoming
registration. Alumni who have not paid membership dues to
MHSAA will be charged $20 per ticket.

Reminder: If you registered for tickets, they are to
be picked up at Registration on Friday or Saturday
in Founders Hall, or at Hershey Lodge, 4:30-6:30 p.m.

MHSAA’s annual service to memorialize alumni who passed
away since last Homecoming. All graduates are encouraged to
join us for this solemn and moving remembrance.

2014 Spartan Hall of Fame Inductees
Milton Hershey School created the Spartan Hall of Fame to recognize the noteworthy accomplishments of members of the Milton
Hershey School family in the areas of Athletics and the Visual and Performing Arts. This unique award recognizes the recipients’
achievements while at MHS in hopes of inspiring current and future MHS students.
The inductees will be honored at a special ceremony on Friday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m. in Founders Hall Auditorium. You are cordially invited
to join MHS Senior Division students and staff as we recognize the achievements of these individuals.

Original Deed of Trust on Exhibit in Founders Hall
Visitor Access Restricted at School Buildings
The original Deed of Trust will be on exhibit in the Founders Hall
North Lounge during Homecoming weekend.
All School buildings are locked and have special visitor access
restrictions in place, including Founder’s Hall during Sunday Chapel
Services where the accessible doors located at the portco’chere
are open only until 9:30 a.m. when Chapel is to begin.
Reunion Classes, Prepare to Celebrate!
Class Agents and other class volunteers are busy making plans
for individual reunion celebrations in addition to the weekend
events listed in this brochure. If you graduated in a year ending
in "4" or "9", please contact your class agent or reunion planning

Win up to $ 10,000 Cash with MHSAA Homecoming
Raffle
The winners will be drawn on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the
Homecoming Banquet. You do not need to be present to win.
Please support this MHSAA fund raising effort. Tickets are $100
each. Top prize is $10,000; two, $1,500 winners and four, $500
winners. Only 300 tickets to be sold.

for Homecoming, visit www.mhsaa.org. If you have no access to
the Internet, phone the MHS Alumni Association Office.
Visits to Student Homes need to be pre-arranged with the
houseparents.
Accommodations needed for persons with disabilities?
Milton Hershey School provides reasonable accommodations for
persons with disabilities at special events sponsored by the School.
