Emerson ‘Carrier’ User Role
SUMMARY
Emerson’s Supply Chain Optimization Program (RSCO) is managed by Menlo
Logistics and built on Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). The purpose of
SCO is to provide: a single ground transportation booking tool to ensure the correct
carrier and mode is selected; exception management for key ground and air
shipment events; centralized visibility to ground and air shipments; operational
reporting metrics.
NAVIGATION: LOGGING INTO OTM
Purpose
Logging into OTM allows a user to access the application. To log in, a user will need
a username and password. Supported Internet Browsers include Internet Explorer
version 8.0 / 9.0 or Mozilla Firefox. The user will need to make sure the Internet
Explorer Caching is set to refresh every time you visit the webpage, pop-up blocker
is disabled and links open in new windows instead of tabs for optimal performance
and usability. All passwords are case sensitive in OTM.
Logging into OTM
1. Log in to OTM;
a. Enter ‘EMR.USER NAME’ (i.e. EMR.JOHN_SMITH).
(Note: All usernames are uppercase)
b. Enter ‘Password’. All passwords are case sensitive and must be
entered exactly as they were created by the administrator.

NAVIGATION: Open Tenders
Accept or Decline Tenders – The open tenders shows all tenders that are
currently in an outstanding status. Tenders will be withdrawn and offered to the
next available carrier after 60 minutes without a response. LTL carriers are set to
auto-accept and do not need to respond to tender offers. Air Cargo Forwarders
have 24 hours to response to a tender.
