Hello everyone,
Well what a year it's been and not just for us at North Coast V-Twins & Coffs KTM but for you
also! The Rally has come and gone with amazing success and to those on the Rally Committee
and to all those volunteers, we and all the 1120 + participants are forever grateful.
It certainly had its ups and downs and challenges, now many of you are counting down the days
before we take a long awaited break for some well-deserved R&R! Then get ready for what we
believe will be an exciting 2014.
There are so many of you that we would like to thank but the list is long so it's easier to do it in this
news letter, you know who you are.
You have placed a lot of faith in us over the years especially over the past 12 months and that's
something we seriously appreciate.
Harley –Davidson have also sent there congratulations to us for what they classed as their biggest
and best ever State HOG Rally and we should all be very proud of this achievement.
We have lots of new rides and events coming up in the new year so make sure you check your
ride calendar and make it on a few, there is always fun to be had. :)
We have loads of great new products in store since the Rally and Xmas and many are on Sale so
make sure you drop in our check out our web site for yourself or the Kids.
New Demos have arrived also so please feel free to give us a call and book a ride. I am also
putting together an email group for my Wednesday Afternoons “Wyld HOGS & WOGS” Rides that
will be leaving the shop at 12.30 for different destinations every second or third Wednesday for
lunch and back by 5pm, so please feel free to email me if you would like to be on the email list
and are not aware already.
Myself and the team at North Coast V-Twins wish you and your family a safe and exciting 2014
with lots of great HOG rides and experiences to come.

Director report 2014
First report for the new year.
Maria and I ventured down South for the Toy run. Great job done by Ronnie and the crew . MNC
HOGS donated $1000 to the Salvos. Thanks to the Dykes for the bed and great company on the
Friday night. The weather was wet all the way from Grafton and the lightning something else ! Its
always great to see the southern members.
The Northern Toy run seen sunny skies and approx. 350 bikes with the tinsel and toys hanging off
them . The Salvos had the Barby fired up to feed the troops and we donated $1000 plus the
money raised from the badge sales. Thanks to Col and his helpers for organising the run well
done . With a thunder storm looming , the HOGS were rounded up and it was onto Wooli for the
Xmas party . What a night , music , good company , great food . It was good to see our northern
chapter hoggies join in . Next morning the Barbie was on , cooking brekkie , thanks to Flash and
Pam for helping organise this and to Shippa for allowing us to take up his beer storage room. The
chefs from MNC and NC chapters did a great job cooking . Many many thanks to Maria who
picked the venue and arranged the accommodation , I think we all had a bed ! I got shuffled about
5 times and at one stage was sleeping in the Landry . Thank to Karen and Troy for rescuing me.
If you have any suggestions for rides please let your activities officer know.
The ride calendar for the next three months has been prepared so mark in those dates for our
rides.
Here's to a fantastic year of riding, friendships and just out there having a great time on our
Harley's. See you on the next ride.

NSW State Rally, and what a rally it was, for those of you that could not make it you missed the
biggest state rally even with 1122 people registered. For those that did come I hope everyone had
a good time I know Kaye & I did even if I did lock her out of the cabin & forget the safe spot I put
her purse. A BIT THANK YOU to all the volunteers & the Rally Committee for organising such a
great rally, its going to hard for any branch to top that rally.
Southern toy run, First of all I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to Ronnie for all the organising that
he did to arrange this event. It was a shame for the wet day but still had a good roll out of bikes, &
most of them arrived dry at Port Macquarie & then the heavens opened up which saw a lot of riders
leave early.
The salvation were very grateful for our donation .
Gladstone joint ride, Gladstone hotel had a really organised kitchen with nearly every one getting
their meals at the same time . The southern group arrived at Gladstone nearly dry. Fifteen minutes
out of Gladstone the heavens opened up. We arrived at Gladstone to meet a great turn out from
the northern group.
Wooli Xmas party, What a great turn out of members for this event .What a great place Wooli is
with Pub / Motel / cabins & caravan park all at the one place, park the bike & party on. Some
partied more than others. A big thank you goes out to the organisers for putting on a great night
For those of you that could not make it, you missed a top night & great breakfast next morning ,
thanks to the chefs for the bbq breaky

Welcome to Grunt 2014
So it begins.
2014 brings a mixture of day rides, twilight rides, dice runs, LOH days, a swap
meet and even an over nighter to Uralla at the end of March. Hopefully we have
catered for you with this assortment of rides and we see you all smiling and
good to go, remember Live to Ride - Ride to Live!
Seems so long ago but for the members that attended How wonderful was OUR
Rally. So many accolades have been passed our way saying it was the BEST
State Rally ever. I know Brad and his Rally committee really put in the hard yards
but it was truly worth every effort. We as a club are sooo lucky to have such
passionate people, loving everything Harley. A BIG THANKYOU to our Rally
Volunteers, it certainly would not have been the success it was without your help
before during and after.
We did end 2013 on a high with charity rides like Pink Ribbon, Westpac Helicopter
Poker Run and Salvation Army Toy Runs. Its great to see so many MNC HOGS
supporting these organizations
A big Thanks to Maria for bringing together our very popular Xmas Party. Wooli
will never be the same again.

Hi there Hoggies,
Just a quick note from your Activities Officer North( Garrie).
You will note we have some great rides coming up in the new year. As well as the planned
rides, if you have any favourite rides, pubs, cafés or scenic spots you would like to share with
your fellow riders, please let me know via text or email and we will try and fit them in.
Also in early March we will holding a 'garage' sale up in Coffs.
As Harley riders, we ALL have all sorts of parts and accessories hidden away at home. You
know, standard pipes, seats, handlebars, jackets, boots, posters, bike magazines ANYTHING
bike related.
It's time to clean out your garage, shed, storeroom anywhere. But get it all out, cleaned up and
ready for sale. You can hopefully achieve at least two things,
(1) make some money,
(2) get rid some unwanted 'bits'.
This is just a heads up so you'll be prepared.
More information will be available regarding location etc in the New Year.
