About the PLC Sydney Extension
Centre Tutoring
Here at the PLC Sydney Extension centre we are concerned about the standard of tutoring and the claims
made by tutors and tutoring organisations. Thus our
Extension Centre tutoring is an initiative designed to
set a benchmark in accountability, openness and academic rigour.
How to enrol
Enrolment is completed by

3. Sign the conditions of enrolment and pay the enrolment fee for one term (or part thereof)

Tutoring Times
The Extension Centre will be available for tutoring
Monday - Thursday from 3.30pm - 7.00pm, Friday
3.30pm - 5.30pm and on Saturday from 9am - 4pm.

$65.00 per hour session (one to one)
$92.50 per 1.5 hour session
University Student as Tutor
$55.00 per hour session (one to one)
$77.50 per 1.5 hour session
Group Costs

A student agrees to fully commit to the
tutoring programme for the negotiated period
of time - 1 Term or 1 Semester.
Location
The PLC Sydney Extension Centre is located on the main
campus of PLC Sydney. The building is found on College
Street and may be accessed via Meta Street.
A student agrees to undertake after hours
homework, as deemed necessary, as directed
by the tutor.
Support the tutor (s) through enabling the
student to attend each session on time.
24-Hours notice will be given for nonattendance. A cancellation fee will apply if
lesser notice is given. The fee will be equal to
the normal hourly rate for a tutoring appointment.
A maximum of two make-up lessons will be
provided per term upon cancellation by a
student.
Parents agree to make themselves available
for discussion pertaining to the education of
their children
