3: Installation Instructions:
1. Shut off power.
2. Inspect mounting location for damage. Make sure it can support
the weight of the Lestra luminaire.
3. Remove Lestra luminaire from package and inspect for damage. Locate
Griplock Grippers (Figure A) or Eye Bolts (Figure E) attched to
luminaire.

Pendant Mount:
4. Remove 1/16” Aircraft Cable with Gated Hook Sleeve (Figure B)
from package and inspect for damage.

5. Insert Aircraft Cable through Gripper to attain desired mounting
height (Figure C). When feeding Cable into Gripper, always allow
it to pass at least 1” beyond the body of the Gripper.
NOTE: Grippers work best when Cable follows their centerline.
Avoid angled pulls in excess of 5°.
6. To re-adjust, simply depress the plunger (on top of the Gripper)
with your fingertip and move the Cable to a new position. Release the
plunger to lock (Figure D).

7. Mount Aircraft Cable to structure. Proceed to number 9 for wiring instruction.
Eye Bolt Mount:
8. Mount Eye Bolts (Figure E) to structure. Proceed to number 9
for wiring instruction.

9. Connect Lestra luminaire wiring to line wire, black to L1,
white to L2, and green to building ground. Use only UL listed
wiring devices.
9a. If product includes 5-wire line cord, connect black to L1,
connect white to L2. Use orange and red for 0-10 dimming
function. Orange-to-negative (-) and red-to-positive (+).
NOTE: Orange and Red leads are used for 0-10 dimming ONLY.
Cap wires if not used.

10. Restore power and verify operation.
