SeMSy® III POS Interface Protocol for the connection of point of sales systems to SeMSy® III SeMSy® III is a high-performance and future-proof video management system with optimum user friendliness. It offers a comprehensive range of functions, including the display of live images, various search options within the footage, the control of PTZ cameras and an easy archiving of relevant sequences. The SeMSy® III Interface Server Software is an interface between external devices and a SeMSy® III Video Management System. The interface software receives data from external devices (e.g. point of sales, access control, dealing shoe) via Ethernet and stores them in the integrated data base. The SeMSy® III POS Interface is a protocol for the connection of point of sales systems to the SeMSy® III Interface Server Software. The data of the POS transactions is linked to the video data and stored in the integrated database. The access to the database of the POS system is not required. The evaluation of the POS and video data is made conveniently and clearly arranged with the Interfaces Module of the SeMSy® III Workstation Software. The SeMSy® III standard POS interface is based on the WCF Web Service Technology. It allows any 3rd party POS manufacturer to integrate their systems into a SeMSy® III system.
