Un esoscheletro robotico indossabile è una struttura meccanica esterna con giunti e bracci che
replicano la cinematica umana (ad esempio la giunzione di spalla, l’articolazione del ginocchio). Tali
dispositivi hanno numerose applicazioni, tra cui il potenziamento dell’uomo o la riabilitazione. Dopo
una breve introduzione verrà presentata una panoramica dei dispositivi esistenti con le loro
caratteristiche. Poi verranno mostrati alcuni dei nostri ultimi risultati sulla ricerca e sviluppo di
dispositivi indossabili, con particolare attenzione ad applicazioni sull'arto superiore.

Proof of Concept/Design and Development
At an early stage of product development, a start-up will be asked for proof of concept, not just
clinical proof, which in turn raises a multitude of imminent questions which determine commercial
opportunities of the product. Later, a start-up business reaches significant pre-clinical and early
development milestones, when it has to meet product and market requirements, undergo a design
review as well as clinical and pre-clinical validation and assessment. This session will feature
