RDB/M - MK - THE NEW CONCEPT OF MODULATING BURNER
LOW NOx MODULATING LIGHT OIL BURNERS
Riello includes the modulation version in the well-known and appreciated RBD range. Riello is able to propose
an innovative an patented solution of modulating burner with pump and fan matched on the same shaft, modifying the good ventilation structure of the RDB 2.2 model and introducing a modified pump for higher pressures.
RDB MK is the Riello proposal with a modulation ratio up to 1 : 2.5 (according to the required configuration), outputs between 8 and 30 kW, lower NOx emissions, completely integrated to meet the new strictest requirements
of the ErPD norm.
The complete operation is managed by a digital control box, able to allow the use of an UV flame management
system. The performance of RDB are controlled by an inverter connected to a small motor which changes the fuel
supply according to the required output. The settings are carried out through an extractible LCD display which
allows the burner setting wherever it is placed. As accessory, Riello has equipped the burner with a device for
the remote burner control.

RDB - TX/GK – A NEW STANDARD FOR ONE STAGE
OPERATION
LOW NOx ONE STAGE LIGHT OIL AND KEROSENE BURNERS
The Riello RDB series of one stage light oil and kerosene burners is available with an output ranging from 17 to 120
kW, in three different structures. The models are available in light oil and kerosene versions, conventional flue
and balanced flue, with or without the fuel pre-heater fitted.
These models are distinguished by their compact size. All the models use the same components designed by
Riello for the RDB series. The high quality level guarantees safe working. The RDB burners are equipped with a
geared pump suitable for Kerosene, Low Sulphur Kerosene and ultra low sulphur diesel oil (ULSD).
The project has been completed, providing the balanced flue “BF” and conventional flue “CF” version, both
equipped with a digital control box.

RDB/D - BX – THE NEW MODELS FOR TWO STAGE
OPERATION
LOW NOx TWO STAGE LIGHT OIL AND KEROSENE BURNERS
The attention of Riello to each market requirement, exceed all expectations. Based on the natural evolution of
the RDB series,Riello has invested all his experience in creating a two stage burner, with the aim to complete the
range and meet the strictest requirements of the ErPD norm.
This product has been developed keeping the good ventilation structure of the RDB2.2 and 3.2 models, modifying
the pump and the control box. The new two stage RDB burner meets the requirements of the new European
standards in order to create a burner with the same qualities of the previous two stage burner models.
Moreover Riello has provided the most advanced technical solutions to this project in order to guarantee lowest
NOx and noise emissions, as the GK LOW NOx combustion head, designed completely by Riello, meets the requirements of the EN 267 standard; anyway it is available a “on-demand” solution with standard combustion head.
The project has been completed, providing the balanced flue “BF” and conventional flue “CF” version, both
equipped with a digital control box.

Gulliver BS3F/M is a Low NOx blue flame modulating gas burner designed for light process applications with 1 : 6
modulating ratio.
Our R&D – the hallmark and pride of Riello – designed a machine that features advanced electronics, yet offers
an extremely simple setup and adjustment system.
Typical applications are all those that require accurate heat output regulation. A few significant examples are
small baking furnaces, drying ovens and textile processes.

Riello 40 F10 HTD has been designed to best meet the needs of certain types of light processes using gas oil,
kerosene or biodiesel and operating over a broad load range. The first-to-second stage modulating ratio
is 1 to 3.
Adopting a cutting edge solution for partial load operation, Riello offers a burner that is suitable for typical
light-duty applications, such as hot air and steam generators, drying ovens and furnaces.

RX - PREMIX GAS BURNERS
RX PREMIX GAS BURNERS FOR HEATING AND LIGHT INDUSTRIAL PROCESSES
The Premix gas burners are especially suitable for heating and light industrial processes, requiring the burner
integration to achieve very compact size. The Premix competitive features are the high modulating ratio (up to
1 : 7) and lower sound emissions than diffusive burners.
Riello RX premix series is the ideal solution for heating applications using condensing boilers, air conditioning
using absorption chillers, light industrial processes for bakery ovens, spray paint booths, air heaters, grain
dryers and textile applications.
RX burners reach values of CO and NOx emissions lower than the more restrictive European Standards.
The premix burner combustion heads can be designed in order to provide a cylindrical or frontal flame shape,
and it is characterised by a "seamless knitted wire" (Riello patented) free of welded seams, in order to avoid
possible damages due to thermal stress.
Two series of premix burners are available:
• a range from 4 to 1080 kW, with one stage, two stage fully modulating operation, with a variable speed drive
motor, gas train integrated in the burner, and air-gas mixing in the fan suction line circuit. Operation with
an electrical supply of 1/230V/50-60Hz up to 850kW and 3/400V/50Hz for 1080kW;
• a range from 55 to 730 kW, with progressive two stage or modulating operation, air-gas mixing in the
combustion head suction line circuit, and gas train supplied separately. Operation with an electrical supply
of 1/230V/50Hz or 3/400V/50Hz.
All RX burners can be suitable for LPG combustion.

LOW NOx MODULATING GAS BURNERS WITH ELECTRONIC CAM
The RS modulating gas burners up to 2400 kW are available with electronic cam and variable speed drive
technology to obtain higher performance and efficiency, low noise emissions and electrical power saving.
The exclusive design ensures reduced dimensions, simple use and maintenance. These models are able to
guarantee care for the environment and high performances. A wide range of accessories guarantees elevated
working flexibility.

DIGITAL BURNER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The BT340 Digital Burner Management System is a microprocessor-based device designed for the control and
supervision of Dual Fuel forced draft burners. It includes the standard function of a Flame Safeguard and in
the meantime controls the air-fuel mixing. The actuators, connected to the air damper and to the Gas and Oil
Regulators, without clearance and mechanical hysteresis, are stepper motors with high accuracy positioning.
The modulating operation with both managed fuels, Gas and Oil, is obtained by an additional load control
module.
The burner power management, performed through this expansion module, which operates in connection with
the relevant temperature/pressure probes.
The inverter management system is performed through a dedicated module (and the relevant motor speed
sensor for the feedback).
The UI300 customer interface display represents the operating unit to interface the system.

The high power monoblock Burners Series RS-RLS, are the result of intensive activities of technical research
and considerable investment, carried out in recent years, that allowed the highest levels of technological

The remarkable results of performance, quality and reliability, are now consolidated by the creation of new
models in the 3-6 MW range, RS-RLS 310-410-510-610, able to summarize and concentrate the best technological

The new models RS-RLS 310-410-510-610 characterized by technology, power and design, are authentic ‘little
giants’ in the burners scenario; little in size and weight, giants in performance provided and in capability to
meet the market needs.
These new models are available in various air-fuel ratio control configurations; Modulating Operation can be
managed through Mechanical Cam for a simple commissioning, through Electronic Cam for higher performance
and efficiency and through Variable Speed Drive technology to obtain both low noise emissions and electrical
power saving.

The RS 810 retains the original construction of the popular monoblock RS - RLS 800 burner packaged in the design of the new RS 310-610 series.
The compact design of air inlet and electric board ensure great ease of maintenance and access to internal parts.
The electric board can accommodate all control types for versions with mechanical or electronic cam, as well as
for variable speed (inverter) versions.
Available both in BLUE-flame (EN 676 Class 3) and yellow-flame (EN 676 Class 1) gas versions, and in the dual fuel
gas/gas oil version (EN 676 Class 3, EN 267 Class 2), it can meet a broad range of needs in the 8 MW application
segment of hot water boilers or industrial steam generators.

RS 1200/E HS - OVERVIEW
The new combustion head with the efficient air swirler and the
optimised internal geometry that significantly reduces pressure loss
make this burner especially suited to applications with water tube
boilers and high combustion chamber pressure.
The burner meets the requirements of EN 676, Class 2.

ER SERIES - INDUSTRIAL OIL, GAS AND DUAL FUEL AIR
REGISTER BURNERS
The industrial burners ER series are designed especially for water tube boilers used in big heating installations
and industrial processes with a remarkable thermal demand.
These burners allow to realize a modular and flexible combustion system adding a preparation fuel unit
(regulation pressure group set, preheating/pumping oil station), a gas train, a control panel and a fan.
Preheated air can also be used as in the oil diathermic generators and other heat recovery systems.
The modulating load control always allows to reach a wide turndown ratio and optimal fluid-dynamics
conditions for a good combustion.

ER 20 SE - OVERVIEW
The new ER 20 SE burner provides total control of secondary combustion air thanks to a mechanical system
with a variable register. This way, the burner can be adapted to the furnaces of water pipe boilers in
applications with a single or multiple burners in a single combustion chamber.
The combustion head features optimised internal geometry to reduce load loss and the power demand of
fan motor.
Radial adjustment for head gas pipes makes to optimal combustion.
The burner meets the requirements of EN 676, Class 2

DB SERIES - INDUSTRIAL DUAL BLOCK OIL, GAS, AND DUAL
FUEL LOW NOX AND YELLOW FLAME BURNERS
The DB burners are dual block burners for application in big plants (district heating, hospitals) as well as in
food, chemicals, textile industry for matching with hot water boilers, steam and thermal oil generators.
The DB burners can be supplied with electronic or mechanical air-fuel ratio control according to customer
specification.
The DB burners can work with pre-heated air up to 150°C as standard, up to 250°C with special construction.
New variable geometry combustion head allows to reach < 80 mg/kWh NOx emission on natural gas operations.
As part of the offer, various accessories (air fan, control panels, high pressure gas train, etc) are available.

DB 6 SM - OVERVIEW
Thanks to the new Aluminium insulated structure, the DB 6 can work with pre-heated air up to 250°C.
The new opening system allows high accessibility to the combustion head.
