"I am a director of the
Trans-Teatr"
Sea Arts is a project created by IEB to promote Balearic Performing Arts. The IEB, the consortium created by the
Government of the Balearic Islands for the international promotion of the culture from its four islands, encourages the
internationalisation of outstanding artistic work, fosters mobility of artists and artworks abroad and broadens the
international awareness of the Balearic Islands’ artistic heritage. It aims through Sea Arts to boost the performing arts
sector by promoting the sale, coproduction and artistic exchanges both national and internationally. It seeks to
position the Balearic culture through its cultural expressions in the cultural sector.
As an art-worker I am convinced that art is a text-book of life, which is read even by those people who do not like to
read any text-books, therefore it means that art helps us to dissolve the barriers and borders. I suppose in the XXI-st
century a director must not only direct his performances but also use his prestige and abilities in order to make his
contribution to society.

Internationale
Tanzmesse
"Dancing Ports" instead
of "Identités
chorégraphiques"
Le Bureau de l’APA
Initiated in 1994, the Internationale Tanzmesse is a biennial marketplace and festival platform for communicating and
networking in the field of contemporary dance. At the Tanzmesse, international dance companies and artists present
their work live on stage and choreographers, dancers, agencies, presenters and cultural institutions network and
present their work in a lively professional environment. It will take place this year from 27 to 30 August.
Les Eclats is a non-profit organisation which promotes contemporary dance in the Poitou-Charentes Region. Les
Éclats is based in La Rochelle, a port city in the South-West of France. Our main activities are a biannual dance festival
and coproductions, residencies, as well as training and educational programmes. We are here to present “Dancing
Ports”, our three year European cooperation project that we would like to submit to Europe Creative, octobre 2014.
We are looking for partners who would like to be involved with us in choosing choreographers, organizing training
sessions and residencies in european ports, and helping the artists to reach new audiences.

The Caligari Theater –

North South East West
The Performing Arts Market in Seoul (PAMS) is Korea's premier contemporary performing arts event, as well as the
platform for Asian and international Performing Arts professionals. And for arts professionals to share their artistic
visions and exchange information on the latest trends in performing arts and performances featured at home and
abroad. It’s a venue for communication, sharing, and cooperation among Korean and foreign performing arts
professionals.
Eskena was created in 1995 and today is a consolidated reference as a promoter and necessary representative for
communication, stability and development of theatre companies in Basque region. Eskena manages a Performing Arts
innovation center in Bilbao which has been designed by and for professionals and provides the methodology,
knowledge and necessary resources to enable companies to adapt to todays´s ways of creation and production.
“Invisible walls” provokes a re-thought and reflection on the public space in a different environment: you are
surrounded with “invisible walls”. A theatrical experience concept rather than a show developed through series of
artistic residencies. It’s a journey through experiences based on real situations of isolation - brought by actors
themselves - being trapped because of bureaucracy, prejudice or fear to leave invisible walls, if not created for us,
created by ourselves.

We have management of an old silent film theatre from the 1920’s in Berlin. We are in the process of opening it as a
theatre and cultural center, and while we are working on the legal structure, state approval, renovations, etc. we want
to keep the place alive with artistic events and explore innovative ways of approaching public relations, funding, and
relationships with the state departments whose approval and support we need.
We are an inter-disciplinary arts company working across the visual arts, design, dance, architecture and performance
based practices. We seek to open up diverse avenues of cultural exchange. We have established an annual workshop
program, North South East West and seek artists that are at the cutting edge of their practice to lead the workshops.
Current artists in discussion are diverse including David Wambach, A.A. Bronson.

In Touch Network
Crew develops performances on the verge of theatre, new media & technology. Because CREW developed and
presented C.A.P.E. successfully in different forms (C.A.P.E. Brussels, C.A.P.E. Tohoku, C.A.P.E. KIT, …) the company
realises the specific potential of this format.
C.A.P.E.’s ability to blend live imagery with pre-recorded footage, and virtual with physical stimuli, offers a radically
new way to experience a story, to live a documentary, to discover a far-away city: C.A.P.E allows audiences to play a
decisive role in their own artistic experience.
Rave theatre consists in a festival held in urban spots that are kep secret to the audience until the moment of the
performance. The audience have the chance to discover both a theatre, dance or music work and an unknown
unconventional space for theatre (parkings, parks, stations, etc.). The meetings time and places to discover the
performances are communicated through videos posted on Youtube and social networks.
The next stage of a long running international experiment to share a story and encourage many versions, adapting the
story about a young woman, to suit local conditions and audiences. Designed to interrupt current systems of theatre
making to be democratic, accessible, playful, value cultural difference and environmentally sustainable. First made in
1987, revisited in 2007, with 5 productions in 2012, the next focus is Dec ‘15-Feb 2016.
On behalf of Cantabile 2, I would like to present the In Touch Network. It is a new, international network connecting
artists, companies and organizations producing and programming Human Specific Performing Art. The In Touch
Network is an open network – and we are therefore happy to invite new members.

Suburb Safari
(WijkSafari)
Have you ever wandered around your own city like a tourist and wondered who’s living behind that window? From
their base camp in the suburbs our theatremakers explore the neighbourhood, ring the bells of the inhabitants, have a
chat with the local police officer and invite the district to connect with eachother. They are adopted by the locals for a
couple of weeks. They live together and get to know eachother in an intense way. These encounters with their life
stories formed the basis for the play. A view on another way of making theatre.
