Quick Installation Guide
1. Physical Connection 1. Be sure that your PC or laptop has connected to your local Ethernet network. 2. Be sure that IP Camera has connected to your local networking via the LAN port (RJ45) on the extension cable. 3. Plug the jack of power adaptor into power jack on the extension cable. 4. Ensure the power adaptor specification matches the power system (110V or 220V) and plug the adaptor into the outlet 5. Use CAM FINDER software utility in CD to allocate your camera in networking, and launch browser to start connecting with PC Power Adapter
RP‐SL721P provides extra connections with outside devices via water proven RJ45 connector. User can make the connectors to support 1) Video Out, 2) Audio In, 3) Audio Out, 4) Terminal Block for GPIO. CAM FINDER Installation CAM FINDER software utility installation is required for finding out your camera on local network that you can launch camera web pages via Internet Browser or do some basically setting directly without camera web pages. The programs are located in the Software Package CD provided together with the device. When this CD insert into CD‐ROM Drive. It will launch utility application automatically. Click “software Utility” button then you can find CAM FINDER setup file. Launch it and complete installation step by step. 3. Network Configuration CAM FINDER is a utility that provides an easier, more efficient way to configure the IP address and network settings of the devices. It even provides a convenient way to set the network settings for multiple devices simultaneously using the batch setting function. Using CAM FINDER to Assign an IP Address to RP‐SL721P and RP‐SL721PF 1. Once CAM FINDER has been successfully installed on the PC, double click the icon (Shown as below) on the Desktop to launch the software. 2. Click the [Device Search] on the top of Window 7. 2. For first time user, there will be a prompt to install the NETCAM VIEWER PLUG‐IN. Click the hyper‐link directly to download. Before completing the installation, you should close the browser first for PLUG‐IN component installation. After installation completed, re‐launch the After filling in the properties, click [Set] button browser. to complete the configuration settings.
