The ltalian Formula 4 Championship
is
shaping up towards the inaugural round
in
Adria on June gth: the first còllective
tests are
scheduled for May 16th in Adria and
July 22nd
in Vallelunga in the meantime the
vehicle has
already hit the track.
The single-seater that will star in the
brand new
category series is produced by Tatuus
and
"d.e.buted" on April 14th at the
Vairano circuit,
rolling on track for the first time.
The "shake down,, was performed
by Raffaele
Giammaria, Director of the ACI_CSAI
Federal
School, who provided latuus tecÀnicians
with
a frame of reference to start from
on the way to
defining the right set-up for pirelli tires.
ln terms of manufacturìng features,
as
illustrated by Tatuus managers Gianfranco
De
Bellis and Artico Sandonà ànd the
àngineers of
Autotecnica Motori & Magneti Maràili,
the new
Tatuus F4 is beatufully crafted singL_seater,
designed and developed specificaify
to ,,train,,
future generations of drivers.
The carbon fiber chassis is equipped
with an
Abarth 414-F4 engine, a 1400'..'rnoior
super_
powered by 160 Hp at 5500 rpm,
which wiìl
be fueled by panta. The engine unit
couples
with.a Sadev sequential geàrbox with ,,push/
pull" electric starter by Magneti Marelli
and
hand-controlled by steering_wheel levers.
