PUBLIC NOTICE OPENING OF EAST CHICAGO HOUSING AUTHORITY PUBLIC HOUSING WAITING LIST East Chicago Housing Authority, will be accepting pre-applications for the Public Housing (1,2,3,4 and 5 bedroom) program on the following date: Tuesday - January 13, 2015 (1) day only - beginning at 9:00 a.m. (no time earlier) until all applications are filled through the online service.* Only 600 pre-applications are available. The only access to the pre-application form on the above mentioned date and time, is the online website: www.echa-in.org - scroll down to ‘Public Housing Waiting List is OPEN’ (Starting at 9:00 a.m.) Click on the link and follow the online instructions. DO NOT CALL THE OFFICE OR COME TO THE OFFICE! DO NOT CALL ANY OTHER SITE OFFICE OR CITY OFFICE!
