All four (4) stations are combined in a sole operation configuration and thus are a single
employment unit.
Responsibilities of Management/Enforcement/Dissemination of EEO Policies
David Harrison was hired September 22, 2014 as General Manager of Stillwater Radio, replacing
Terry Weinacht, previous General Manager of Stillwater Radio. The General Manager has overall
responsibility of hiring and of enforcing all EEO policies and to continually review our
employment unit’s performance and adherence to the Commission’s EEO rules.
All current employees have been advised of our stations’ EEO policies and have received a
written copy of same. Future employees will be advised of our EEO policies during the interview
process. Employees have been encouraged to advise their immediate supervisor of any
complaints they may have of prejudice or discrimination in the workplace.

Stillwater Radio, constantly analyzes its EEO Recruitment Program and to its effectiveness and

SUPPLEMENTAL OUTREACH INITIATIVES

1st Initiative
Participated in “HIRE OSU GRADS” Job
Fair held February 19, 2014, 12:30pm4:30pm at the Gallagher-Iba Arena on the
Campus of Oklahoma State University,
located in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Stillwater
Radio personnel were on hand to discuss the
broadcast industry and answer any questions
by attendees.
2nd Initiative
On February 27, 2014, our General
Manager, Terry Weinacht spoke at the
Communications Networking Event/Job Fair
held at the Oklahoma State University
Student Union Ballroom. The event took
place 1:30pm-3:30pm with a presentation
about Stillwater Radio and Broadcasting
career opportunities with our employment
unit.
3rd Initiative
As part of our supplemental outreach
initiative, Stillwater Radio participated in a
career fair at the Meridian Technology
Center held at their Stillwater campus. This
career fair occurred December 4, 2014, 12
noon to 4 pm.
At this job fair, prospective employees
listened to a presentation in regards to
opportunities within our company and the
skills necessary for a successful career in
broadcasting. Participants were also given
the chance to visit with Bill Vanness,
employee of Stillwater Radio, ask questions,
complete applications, submit resume’s and
schedule an interview.
4th Initiative
Hosted “Women’s Night Out” Thursday,
March 27, 2014 with other area businesses.
The event was held at Payne County Expo
with various businesses in our region. Our
employment unit provided information
about the broadcast industry for interested
participants and station personnel were onhand throughout this event to answer
questions.
5th Initiative
Participated in an internship program in
conjunction with Oklahoma State University
Broadcast and Journalism Departments,
offering internship with Stillwater Radio for
the Summer 2014 and Fall/Winter 2014
semesters. During the 2013 EEO period,
Amy Leet interned approximately 3 days per
week. She is still interning with us this
current EEO reporting period.
Mason
Doughterhy is also interning starting in the
Fall of 2014. He as well as Will Carr will
intern into Spring 2015. These interns are
learning practical, hands-on experience in
commercial copywriting, production, news
reporting as well as anchoring with basic
production skills.
6th Initiative
January 9, 2015 Stillwater Radio hosted a
Radio Station Tour for the Boy/Cub Scouts
of America Stillwater, OK troops. During
this tour broadcasting materials were
distributed
to
those
interested
in
Broadcasting careers.
7th Initiative
Stillwater Radio was in attendance at the
Oklahoma State University Career Fair held
at OSU Gallagher-Iba Arena, January 29,
2015, 12:30pm-4:30pm.
During this event our station was
represented by our employment unit
discussing the broadcast industry and
answering questions regarding
employment with our company.
Activities to fulfill:
future
In continuing with our supplemental
outreach initiative, we are scheduled to
participate in the “Hire OSU Grads Job
Fair” at the Gallagher-Iba Arena on the
Campus of Oklahoma State University,
located in Stillwater, Oklahoma, both in the
Spring and Fall 2015 with the dates to be
decided.
Stillwater Broadcasting will also be working
with Oklahoma State University broadcast
and journalism departments, offering
internships for the Spring/Summer 2015 and
Fall/Winter 2015 Semesters.
Stillwater Radio will be hosting “Women’s
Night Out” on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at
Payne County Expo Center with various
businesses in our region and will provide
information regarding the broadcast industry
to interested participants.
Stillwater Radio as an employment entity
will be sponsoring a “SALES OPEN
HOUSE” either the Summer or Fall of 2015.
This Open House will be held at our Station
and studio location at 408 East Thomas
Avenue, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
At this job fair, prospective employees will
have a chance to listen to a presentation in
regards to sales opportunities within our
company and the skills necessary for a
successful sales career in broadcasting.
Participants will be allowed the chance to
visit with our management team, ask
questions, complete applications, submit
resume’s and schedule an interview.
Stillwater Radio Employment Entity will
also be looking into attending additional job
fairs in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Area
Community Colleges during this specific
upcoming EEO reporting period, February
1, 2015 – January 31, 2016.
