ARRESTS MADE FOLLOWING HOME INVASION IN VAUGHAN Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit have arrested and charged two men in connection with a home invasion in the City of Vaughan. On Sunday, January 25, 2015, at 10:40 p.m., police attended a residence on Brougham Drive, which is located in the area of Pine Valley Drive and Langstaff Road, in regards to a home invasion. Two male suspects armed with handguns forced their way into the residence and began searching the home. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle which was later identified. No one was injured during this incident. On Monday, January 26, 2015, at approximately 4 p.m., the suspect vehicle was stopped in the City of Toronto by Toronto Police Service and the two suspects were found inside car. The suspects were arrested and have been charged in connection with this incident. Charged: Savio BUOMPASTORE, 32, of the City of Vaughan Giovanni FANUZZI, 35, of the City of Vaughan Charges: Robbery with a Firearm Mischief Over $5,000 Fail to Comply with Recognizance Breach of Probation Both suspects will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Newmarket on Tuesday, January 27, 2015.
