CLEP and Proficiency Exams
Gonzaga University Graduate School of Business
CLEP Exams
The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) allows MBA & MAcc students to fulfill prerequisites for graduate level
courses by demonstrating proficiency on CLEP exams. Students study independently and schedule their exams through
Gonzaga or another testing center. If you do not pass a CLEP exam, you must wait three months to re-take it.
Proficiency Exams
The finance, accounting, and statistics faculty have proficiency exams available for students who wish to test out of the
prerequisite. These exams may only be attempted once. Students who do not pass will be required to complete the
applicable prerequisite courses.
