HPFP 1000 USGPM Trailer Pumps DESCRIPTION: The Hawkes Fire 1000 GPM Trailer Mounted diesel Pump has a nominal performance rating of 1000 GPM (US) at 100 psi. The pump and engine are mounted on a box frame base, which serves as a fuel tank. The pump skid has a discharge manifold with three 2 ½” BSS 336 Inst female valve discharges (storz/ NH or other connection types available). The pump skid has a suction manifold with 1 No. 4” BRT suction connection. The unit is equipped with an operators’ panel containing engine controls and manifold pressure gauges. The pump priming system consists of one electric primer with separate battery system charged on a split charging system. The pump skid is furnished with a custom designed 3500kg GVW trailer permanent mount. APPLICATIONS: The portable pump package can be used anywhere water is required and a pressurised water source is not available or a water system is not capable of adequate pressure. SPECIFICATION: The Hawkes Fire 1000GPM (US) Trailer Mounted diesel Pump shall consist of a vertically split, cast iron bronze fitted pump casing. The pump shall be designed for operation at a nominal capacity discharge pressure while operating at a 6 foot suction lift through an internal diameter suction hose and strainers. One rotary vane type positive displacement primers shall be provided with controls located at the pump operators’ panel. Pump shall be driven by a diesel engine. All ratings shall be at SAE standard J1995 Conditions, 29.31in. (7521 mm) Hg barometric pressure, and 77deg: F (25deg: C) inlet air temperature. The cooling system shall consist of an engine mounted multi-row flat fin and tube radiator with pusher type fan. It shall have a single exhaust with industrial grade silencer. The suction manifold shall be constructed with one 4” British Round Thread male suction connection adapters. One ¾” (19mm) valve shall be furnished for draining the manifold. The discharge manifold shall be complete with three 2 ½” (63mm) BS336 Inst Female discharges with valves. One ¾” (19mm) valve shall be furnished for draining the manifold. The pump and engine shall be directly mounted to steel skid base. The tank shall be furnished with a fuel fill connection at the back end of the tank and vented to allow easy refuelling while in use. Devices intended to provide for operators’ access to the trailer shall be equipped with a slip resistant surface in the step area. The pumping skid shall be furnished with a custom design Trailer. The trailer shall have dual axles with single wheels. Lighting shall comply with current European construction and use regulations. The trailer shall include a top wind drop leg jack at the tongue. The pump operators’ panel shall be located on the side of the pump skid well forward of the suction manifold at a height readily accessible from ground level but well clear of any suction or discharge. The operators’ panel shall contain all controls for starting and stopping the engine, monitoring engine functions, priming the pump, and monitoring pump suction/discharge pressures. A reflective stripe shall be applied to the perimeter of the trailer. The complete pump/driver will be tested and certified by Hawkes Fire Ltd to meet performance advertised for the assembly. TECHNICAL DATA: The pump is a bronze pump sutiable for use with fresh or sea water. Rated at a nominal capacity of 1000 GPM (US) @ 100 psi. Pump shall have electric priming system. Driver: Deutz Diesel engine. All ratings are at SAE Standard J1995 Conditions, 29.61in. (7521 mm) Hg barometric pressure, and 77deg: F (25deg: C) inlet air temperature. OPTIONS: Exhaust: Single industrial grade silencer. Operators’ panel: All controls for starting and stopping the engine, monitoring engine functions, priming the pump and monitoring pump suction/discharge pressures. Colours other than red Custom suction and discharge connections and configurations, including grooved connections for large diameter hose and special hose threads. Suction hose kit: 10 foot hose lengths of lightweight, PVC helix with smooth bore for unrestricted flow and lightweight male and female couplings. Each hose shall have a lightweight 4” basket type strainer. Trailer: Custom designed. GVWR: 3500 kg Suspension: Dual axle with single tyres, highway tread Brakes: Euro spec front and rear Lights: Two rear lights (brake/turn combination), one licence plate light, two backup lights and markers in accordance with euro regulations Connections: Suction: One 4” BRT male suction connection adapters.
