GROUP REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
THIS FORM MUST BE RETURNED TO THE OFFICE AND ALL T-SHIRTS PICKED UP BY WEDNESDAY 28 JANUARY 2015 BEFORE THE WALK OR THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT T-SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
GUIDELINES FOR GROUPS WALKING / RUNNING TOGETHER IN THE ‘WALK FOR LIFE’
- Groups are 5 or more members of a Business, School or Community who want to WALK together.
- Every Group should appoint a Group Leader. The Group Leader MUST fill out the Group Form completely and give WALK information to all the participants of the Group.
- The Group Leader must return the completed Group Form along with the registration money to the CanSupport office.
- The Group Leader should note all T-Shirt sizes on the Group Form and ensure that all participants get a T-Shirt. The T-Shirts can be collected from the CanSupport office.
- There will be a clearly marked “Group Assembly Area” at the Venue. Groups should meet in this area between 8:00 – 8:30am to walk together.
- We encourage Cancer Survivors to participate in the Lap of Honour wearing a yellow t-shirt. After the Lap of Honour they are welcome to rejoin and finish the WALK with the Group. See Survivors’ message for details on

GROUP SOLIDARITY IDEAS
Groups walk with us for many reasons; to show solidarity as a Business, School or Organization, to raise awareness amongst employees as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), to unite for a cause or simply as friends.
Here are some ideas to make this a successful event for your Group:
- Help us go viral: Share a picture of your group in the ribbon formation on our facebook or twitter page and tag it #walkforlifeindia
- Carry a specially designed group banner with an exclusive slogan to support the cause of cancer awareness.
- Carry flags and balloons or wear special costumes/headgears.
