WINE LIST
Our wine program is designed to gather a well-varied list
through grape, location, producer and vintage. We are fortunate to
offer a strong selection of high-quality wines, including well-known
wineries, vineyards, small producers and growers.
We offer our Wines by the Glass selection on page
3, listing wines from light to heavy in body. We have a selection
of Half Bottles on pages 4-5. Our full bottle selection includes
California, Oregon, Washington State, France, Italy, Spain,
Germany and regions from the Southern Hemisphere. If you are
looking for something unique or to mark a special occasion, you
will find our Reserve Wines on pages 24-30. These wines focus on
small production, older vintages, and “verticals” from many of the
famous vineyard sites in California as well as regions around the
world. Page 31 offers our Late Harvest, Dessert and Fortified wine
Selections. We hope you enjoy your food and wine experience!
Cheers,
Joshua Haberman

The Rose’s listed are on
the dry side of the sweetness chart. All fruit forward with good acidity
and great for pairing
apps…. especially our
steak tartar!
Anything green- Pairs
well with either Grüner
Veltliner we have listed
on this page, both show
ripe flavors with great
acidity and length on the
palate.

Riesling--- From a sharp
and crisp Kabinett, to the
richness of an eiswein.
Riesling’s truly run the
gamut of flavors.
-German Style tend to be
off–dry, with low alcohol.
This includes the delicate
style from Dr Konstantin
from NY.
-Alsatian style, along
with the Northwest UStend to be dry and have
more medium body and
higher alcohol.

The sauvignon blanc
grape is produced in a
variety of styles ranging
from the dry, crisp, and
racy- to the juicy, rich
(with the addition of
Semillon). Most of these
selections see no oak in
the winemaking process.
Some fruits that shine
through are lemon, apple,
grapefruit, and kiwi.
The Godello grapes are
sourced from 35 yr old
vines and is barrel fermented and aged in (5600L) French Oak for 7
months. Slate soils, 1350
-1650 ft elevation. Great
mineral & baking spice
on the nose along a concentrated palate.
“My goal is to make the
wine as true to the varietal as possible” says
winemaker Christian
Roguenant. Native to
Burgundy, Christian has
overseen all winemaking
for the Niven Family
Wine Estates since ‘99.
Arneis, meaning the
“rascal” can be a very
finicky grape to work
with. Found primarily in
the Roero Hills, which is
northwest of Alba. Medium- to full-bodied wines.
If you’re interested in
tasting a fuller bodied
white, other than chardonnay, you may want to
try gewürztraminer, roussanne, or viognier. Indigenous to France’s Rhone
Valley, viognier offers
flavors of dried apricot,
peach, & honey.

Chalone Vineyards lies
in one of the few appellations ( Chalone American
Viticultural Area) in the
United States that rests
on Limestone based Soil.
Expressive Terroir make
these wines delicate and
distinct. Solid wines that
have great aging potential.
Hanzell grows and produces Chardonnay and
Pinot Noir in Sonoma
Valley. They have the
oldest Chardonnay vines
in the New World which
go into the “1953 Ambassador’s” from select
vintages. With notes of
citrus-infused melon fruit,
apple, and pear, the wine
finishes beautifully with
bright acidity and magnificent structure which will
age very well Definitely
one for the Burgundy
collector and lover!
Stony Hill Vineyards,
located on Spring Mountain, the moderating climatic influences such as
northeast-facing slopes
and an elevation between
700 and 1200 feet above
the valley floor make this
mild microclimate an
ideal location for growing
premium Chardonnay
grapes. If you enjoy OldWorld Chardonnay than
this is a must try!!

Chablis is located in the
northernmost part of the
Burgundy region in
France. In most cases
these wines are not aged
in oak, only stainless steel
tanks to retain the fresh
and crisp flavors. Along
with its great acidity these
wine are very food friendly
and a classic pairing with
shellfish. The soil in
Chablis--Kimmeridgian
limestone contains millions of tiny marine fossils
embedded in a kind of
whitish mortar which may
have been once the bottom
of the sea...hundreds of
million years ago.
The wines listed in the
Côte-D’-Or, are most
famous for Chardonnay
that goes through barrel
aging, adding a rich complexity to the wine. A
perfect choice to pair with
Lobster and rich dishes.
Eyrie Vineyards 1999
Estate Chardonnay is a
great find...Complex
bouquet, savory, Burgundian in style and Classic.
Highly Recommend!

Yarden Chardonnay was
produced from 100%
Chardonnay grapes grown
in the Golan Heights.
The cool climate, rocky
volcanic soil and high
altitude are ideal conditions for growing classic
wine grape varieties.

Pinot noir is often thought
of as the most complex
red wine grape. It’s flavors can range from bright
cherry and strawberry in
the Carneros and Russian River regions, to the
dark, damp, mushroom
laced earthiness of Burgundy. Pinot noir, experts maintain, is the
easiest red wine to pair
with poultry and fish. It
possesses an intrinsic
softness that allows more
subtle flavors in cuisine to
shine through.
Clouds Rest is a familyowned, Sonoma County
based winery that has
produced premium single
vineyard estate grown
pinot noir since 2002.
Littorai, or “the coasts”,
was founded in 1993 by
Heidi and Ted Lemon.
Littorai produces regional
and vineyard designated
chardonnay and pinot
noir wines from the true
north coast of California:
western Sonoma and
western Mendocino Counties.
Zepaltas’ main goal is to
produce wines that are
balanced, pure and reflect
the places and people who
had a hand in making
the wines what they are.
Our favorite sources for
fruit are the cooler parts
of California.

Oregon pinot’s possess a
silky earthiness that is
rivaled mostly by wines
from Burgundy, the origin
of pinot noir. This may be
attributed to the heavier
rainfall and cooler climate
in the northwestern U.S,
as well as the additional
sunlight throughout the
growing season.
Willakenzie Estate is
located in the northern
Willamette Valley and
the estate is named after
the very soil on which the
vineyards are planted.
Terres Basses is the lowest
planted vineyard on the
estate, more clay in soil,
clones 113 and 115.
Triple Black Slopes is a
very steep-south facingplanted to Dijon clones
114 and 777. Both
Limited production!
The Red Burgundies
listed on this page all
come from the Côte d’Or,
which is divided into the
Côte Nuits (north) and
the Côte Beaune (south).
The wines and vineyards
of Burgundy have a very
long history going back to
the days when the Romans ruled the region.
Medium in body, earth,
red fruits, and like most
Pinot’s, food friendly!

Scott Harvey produces
Barbera with an old
world style here in California. This wine offers
balance, good acidity, is
medium plus in body,
with ripe red fruits, and
has a juiciness that hugs
the palate.
Modern wine-making
techniques in the villages
of Barolo and Barbaresco
often produce full bodied,
fleshy, earthy, red wines
made from 100% of the
Nebbiolo grape. Challenging in the vineyardthese wines are capable of
aging for 10 to 20 plus
years.
Vietti’s Castiglione Barolo offers aromas of blackberry, mushroom, and
coffee notes that follow
through onto a full-bodied
palate with seamless tannins..
Amarone is made from
traditional Italian varietal grapes, mostly corvina,
that have been dried in
the sun before pressing.
This concentrated juice
produces a rich red wine
with port like texture &
flavors of chocolate &
spice.

Wines produced from the
sangiovese grape tend to
be medium in body and
fresh with higher acids to
balance the fruit. The
acidity in the wine make
it lively and super food
friendly especially to cut
through with the rich
sauces.
The wines of Chianti and
Chianti Classico are
earthy, medium bodied
and fantastic with rustic
dishes. Primarily made
from the native Sangiovese
it can also be blended
with other indigenous
grapes from the region
and in some cases with
Merlot. Brunello Di
Montalcino wines are
made entirely from Sangiovese and aged for three
plus years in oak and in
bottle before release.

Washington State is responsible for some of the
finest syrah in the U.S.
Cooler climate regions
such as the Yakima Valley produce more Northern Rhone--earthy styles
with notes of tar, licorice,
and sometimes even bacon
fat.
Syrah in Australia...
referred to as “Shiraz”,
and finds itself very much
at home with more intense
dark berry flavors such as
blackberry and blueberry!
Medium to full body,
powerful wines that still
have balance.
Cluster M45 is grown,
made and bottled in
Heathcote- Victoria, by
the partnership of Michel
& Corinne Chapoutier
and Ron & Elva
Laughton.
Moorooroo ( Schild Estate) produces Shiraz
from vines planted back
in 1847. Aged in new
and old French Oak
barrels.

The varietals listed on
this page are made from
grapes mostly native to the
Rhone Valley of France.
New world wine regions
such as California and
Australia have produced
very different styles of wine
from the same set of
Grape varieties.
Sadie Family produces a
delicious syrah and
mourvedre. With plenty
of richness and concentration supported with ripe
fine grained tannins.
The vineyards of CôteRôtie are unique because
of their vertical slopes and
their stone walls. CôteRôtie can be rendered in
English as "the roasted
slope" and refers to the
long hours of sunlight that
these steep slopes receive.
Alto Mancoya, Veraton
is made from 100% Garnacha from vineyards
planted between 19101967. Chris Ringland is
the winemaker, and the
wine is aged for 14
months in new French &
American Oak.
In Rioja, the wines have a
more lively acidity level
and possess elegant notes
of strawberries and raspberries. In the Ribera del
Duero, the wines tend to
be more densely structured
and deeper in flavor.

Marcucci Farms from the
Russian River Valley is
a small production and
family owned winery
producing ‘old vine’
zinfandel. Displays juicy
red fruits with supple and
silky tannins. This one is
a treat!
Ridge, the wines of Paul
Draper, continues to dazzle with his Geyserville...Mainly zinfandel,
this wine also has significant portions of carignane
and petite sirah in the
blend.
Rancho San Miguel is a
brand new winery focused
on century old vine zin
grown in Russian River.
This is their first release!
Sobon Estate , produces
yummy wines from their
own sustainably-grown
grapes. They reflect the
unique Shenandoah Valley terroir, resulting in
richness and intensity, yet
well balanced!
Petite Sirah was discovered in the 1880s by Dr.
Francois Durif, a French
nurseryman, who named
the grape after himself.
(Some producers still call
petite sirah by its original
name, Duriff, mainly in
Australia). Petite Sirah
produces a deeply concentrated and tannic wine
with notes of pepper, currents, and baked fruit.

of tea and tar. Definitely
an understated style.

Merlot, for centuries
thought of strictly as a
blending grape with cabernet sauvignon in Bordeaux, rose to prominence
on its own in our markets
in the early 1980s.

Keenan Winery located on
Spring Mountain in Napa makes delicious merlots. Very indicative of its
mountain ‘terroir,’ their
wine presents a range of
dark and intense rustic
fruits that coat the palate
as the finish gives way to
ripe round tannins.
L’Ecole No. 41 produces
a delicious merlot from the
Columbia Valley. Presenting layers of elegant
blackberry, cherry, and
subtle earth tones, the
finish is long and balanced supported with ripe
and firm tannins.

Malbec is also one of the
five varietals used in Bordeaux blends. It has a
dense structure, with
hints of cherries, tea
leaves, cocoa, dark chocolate, and earth. Argentina’s high elevation, with
a hot, and dry climate is
particularly kind to malbec, often producing wines
with more intensity and
grip.
Rare to find a pure
Malbec from California, J
Rickards shows how well
the Malbec grape can
ripen in great vintages
and proper sites. This
wine is medium plus body
and offers great aromatics
and structure to match
any cut of meat.

Arns produced 500cases
from 100%c cabernet off
their estate at the base of
Howell Mountain.
Cathy Corison produces
artisan Cabernet Sauvignon “without compromise” from great bench
land vineyards between
Rutherford and St. Helena in Napa Valley. Offering tremendous balance,
juicy with complex berry
and plum fruit, enhanced
with a mineral note and
violet perfume. Complex!
Heitz Cellars was the
first winery to produce a
single vineyard Cabernet
in Napa, including,
Martha’s’ Vineyard ….
The Heitz family's vision
of winemaking spans
three generations of dedication to excellence.
‘”At Mount Eden every
bottle is a succinct expression of the vineyard's
ecology. Year in and year
out we produce wines from
the same vines, in the
same cellars, by the same
people. With that purity
of expression comes a true
"vineyard wine".
Ladera’s Cabernet is a
solid example of Howell
mountain’s ’ high elevation! Full body, dry, opulent, and complex with a
long finish.

The Seps Estate from
Storybook Mountain is
very rugged, youthful, and
brimming with layers of
dark fruit, reminiscent of
a Pauillac, Bordeaux.
Washington State produces fantastic quality Cabernet. Along with the
more famous areas( Bordeaux, California, Australia, and Chile) Washington Cabs offer quality
and great value even for
the high end models. Better yet, they are approachable right out of the gate!
d’Arenberg Winery dates
back to 1912 and produces world class wine in
the McLaren Vale region
in South Australia.
Chester Osborn, chief and
fourth generation family
member, is continuing the
family’s wine making
tradition that spans over
two centuries. Chester and
his wine making team
utilise the original 1920s
cellars and the traditional
wine making processes to
create the wines that
proudly wear the red
stripe label.

Bordeaux wines can be
mesmerizing. Typically
showing less fruit and
more earth than California wines of the same
varietals, Bordeaux are
often more complex.
Plus, average Bordeaux
wines usually age better
than California wines of
equal quality. We have
an eclectic selection of
Bordeaux here, with more
on the way, and we urge
you to try one.
